I racked my brain to come up with the following 10 funiculars I have ridden over the years (I'm sure I missed a few):
1. Paris---from Montmartre up to Sacre Coeur
2. Salzburg---from the center of the old town up to the fortress, Hohensalzburg
3. Murren---from Murren up to Allmendhubel
4. Lauterbrunnen---from Lauterbrunnen up to Grutzalp on the way to Murren (since replaced by a cable car)
5. Trummelbach Falls---completely inside the mountain, goes about halfway up to top of the falls)
6. Capri---from Marina Grande up to the town of Capri
7. Lugano--- from near the lake up to the train station
8. Chamonix---from Flegere to Brevent
9. Como---from the lake up to Brunate
10. Zermatt---the Sunnegga Express (completely underground) from Zermatt up to Sunnegga
