AJax is gone after this year. It would do him no good to stay another year unless he just really loves college
Odds are you're correct. But I could see him coming back if he hasn't shown the ability to create his own shot, and he thinks we have a chance to win a national championship. I think he loves UConn and really wants to do something special. With NIL money, he may not be in a rush to go pro.

It’s possible, he’d need to have vastly improved as a scorer or shooter to garner more than “2 way contract” level interest. 13 ppg on good efficiency should do it.

It’s not about him being a “pro” which he is. Pro doesn’t mean NBA. It’s about whether he’d improve his NBA draft stock by playing another year of CBB. He wouldn’t at that point. So why not go make money.
