Maybe Uconn should accept the fact that this conference isn't as bad as we think..

Or maybe we just need to realize that we are not as good as we think. We have major holes right now. We have no 5 spot presence at all. I would rather see Nolan, Brimah and Facey getting experience for the future than starting Olander who hasn't gotten better in the 4 years he has had. Daniels is not strong enough for the 4, however what other options do we have. Every time he gets the ball in the paint he gets it knocked away or he travels trying to muscle for position. He has become strictly a jump shooter. Our opponents know this and guard against the 3, the open shots are no longer there forcing us into fade away 3's from Bazz to get shots off. Giffey isn't getting any shots. What does that leave? A very average team with not many answers right now.

After two games in our new conference it really hits home just how bad the conference realignment can be for us. Uninspired play against teams nobody cares about, awful refs (bad calls all the way around), 10th string announcers pulling for the new teams trying to build them up while dragging us down. Until today I still believed that we would still remain relevant by beating up on the conference teams while playing a strong out of conference schedule. Starting off 0-2 really points out the reality that we could very easily fade off into oblivion sooner than we think.

Or maybe we can go on another nice run and win the National Championship again.... Godddddddd. Please relax, sit back, and let the games be played. Its so early to get crazy about this things

How many times does scooter need to explain to you people that he's actually a better fan because he cares enough to expect more?

Sure, he disappears whenever we do well and only shows up when we don't. And yes, he'll explain away any good accomplishments as flukes or unimpressive. And of course he'll interpret every hiccup as proof that he was correct about the apocalypse of UConn basketball.

That just because he's trying to show us all tough love. There is no bigger fan. Just ask him.
