The top 5 rated college football games in the NYC market are all RU games, and something like 7 of the top 10.
SNY carries more RU programming than Uconn programming:

All RU sports, including football, have been on SNY since 2008. Uconn football wasn't added until 2010, along with men's basketball. Women's basketball added in 2012. No other Uconn sports on SNY.
Uconn's deal with IMG pays out RU has a smaller deal with IMG, sure, but that's because Nelligan Sports Marketing handles the bulk of RU's sponsorship arrangements. Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment / IMG handled only the stadium naming rights, while IMG is Uconn's sole marketing/sponsorship partner. RU's Nelligan deal is financially substantial.
