When did this happen? You mean you actually had some respect for them before this incident?!I've lost any respect I had left for the NCAA. Complete joke of an organization.

I always get pissed when I see a picture of that little p*r*i*c*k. Gotta say it's 50/50 that I punch him if I ever meet the guy. This picture almost made me throw up in my mouth.
Goodman and "firing" should be used in the same sentence, but with ESPN in the front, then firing and then Goodman! How incompetent!OkaForPrez said:no kiddin, our boy Goodman firing off BS again.
I really like that under KO we are only going after high character kids that are also committed to doing well in school as well as life/basketball career.
Not to go off on a tangent but we've had offers out to so many people that there's no way to know if this is true.I really like that under KO we are only going after high character kids that are also committed to doing well in school as well as life/basketball career.
Jeff Eisenberg @JeffEisenberg
Five-star PGs to commit to Larry Brown at SMU: Josiah Turner and Emmanuel Mudiay. Five-star PGs to play for Larry Brown at SMU: _____.
Wow, major blow to the AAC.
SMU and possibly us as top-10 teams would have really locked up the credibility of this new conference in its second year. Now, as is usually the case, it's going to fall primarily on us to carry the banner.
Jesus, bad day for SMU. What's the investigation?
Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN
Mudiay's camp is concerned of an ongoing NCAA investigation, source told ESPN. Huge hit for Larry Brown and SMU.
Sure there is- you can look at the players that say yes and then make up your mind. Bet ya $1 they all fall into that category. Make it $50.Not to go off on a tangent but we've had offers out to so many people that there's no way to know if this is true.
True, but Luke Winn tweeted out something similar:Never take anything Goodman says seriously. School is 1 month away at many places. NCAA investigations take years after formal notice.
Based on the end of this article, it certainly seems like he already committed violations and was concearned it would turn into a worse version of what boatright went through. Guessing he already took some benefits and figured he wouldnt be able to play anyway this year so overseas was really his only viable optionNever take anything Goodman says seriously. School is 1 month away at many places. NCAA investigations take years after formal notice.
You realize this has nothing to do with the NCAA right?NCAA needs to investigate UNC, not every H.S. transcript in the country.
Sad thing is that every scout, coach and G.M. in America would advise this kid to spend the year under Larry Brown.
Mudiay has a crew of handlers around him. Someone offered him big money. It's as simple as that. Makes me wonder why more big players don't take this route.
True, but Luke Winn tweeted out something similar:

Stephane Mudiay said this was a recent decision and insisted that it was not the result of an NCAA investigation.
Yeah but after looking at the video in this thread college basketball is just a bus stop, and an 'inconvenience' to a certain extent. He is NBA ready and college is not necessary. So to get paid for that one year is understandable especially if his financial status warrants it.I really like that under KO we are only going after high character kids that are also committed to doing well in school as well as life/basketball career.
