SMU Game Thread

Just terrible.
Which part - the part where the Huskies are up by 12 points or that they've never been behind this game despite playing poorly? Geno can cover up a team's flaws, for the most part, but he can't eliminate them. Young teams are inconsistent, one flaw Geno struggles to hide.

And, if you're just going to bitch and moan without any commentary to explain what the heck you're complaining about - give it a rest.

Always a tough crowd here on Natalie, I think she fills her role as a big sub nothing more nothing less not everyone can be all americans

We shouldn't expect her to rebound, block shots, and not foul every time down the court?

The foul call on Butler. I didn't realize there was a specific formula to posting on here.

One thing I love about Lou - she's become so much more than a 3 point shooter. only 2 shots from beyond the arc, hitting 1, but she has 14 points. Terrific mover without the ball (unlike Maya early in her career!! :p )...

UConn comes out shooting horribly after the TO. This team does not seem to like early starts. Gabby's going to work no matter.

14 point lead, Lou is playing well despite being sick and we are DOOMED!!!!!

Good foul by Collier on Collins.

Still horrible outside shooting. Lou came to shoot and play today.

Crystal's not playing. Something to do with practice effort?
they mentioned something a few minutes back about the practice. either she didn't do well, or...did I hear something about knee tenderness? hard to hear watching in a mall!

just to say awesome hustle by Lou on the offensive boards a few plays ago. I've been a critic of her rebounding, and that was awesome.

Lou seems to have gotten her shooting eye back. Good to see!

Remember MJ having the flu while wrecking the Utah Jazz? KLS is killing it today. I think -maybe- she does have a heart after all.

If I'm an opposing coach, my strategy is simple -- avoid turnovers and abandon the offensive glass.

If we're not scoring in transition, we're not scoring.

Hard first part, easy 2nd.

Lou has played every minute of the half and shot more than anyone this half. "Nails" Samuelson.
so much for Geno's suggestion yesterday that she may not play, and, if she does, it'll be short minutes.
