Not tonight. Tonight is on the simple fact that most of UConn's athletes wouldn't be starters on P5 teams. They probably wouldn't have been recruited by a team like Houston. Very slow team, with few playmakers. Glorified Colonial Conference team.

Why is everyone so obsessed with TJ Weist...wtf. We could get someone better than TJ. I'd much prefer someone with head coaching experience. PJ Fleck (if we could even get him) or any other coach from a successful MAC/Sun Belt/CUSA or FCS team.

To have an offense that is more sophisticated than a Texas high school team.

And because you don't think he has shown that tonight, against the #6 team in the country, on the road, you think he should be fired tonight? Of course, if you think he should have been fired weeks / months / years ago, I get that. But that isn't about tonight.

The offensive gameplan that put is in prime position to be tied right now if not for a QB who can't complete a 20+ yard pass and a WR drop? Sounds good.

Our offensive line isn't ready and our QB is not even an average passer.

That said, the staff showed me more in the first half tonight than they had in the first four games this year combined.

OP is a G5 poster looking for attention. Dumb thread.

Huskymedic made a good point in game thread.

Now we know why our game planning is conservative on offense.

BS is a tough, gutsy QB but just can't throw the long ball.

Should be 28-21 at the half.

He has HC experiencing; he took an 0-7 team, and went 3-2 the rest of the way with them.

He took an 0-4 team and went 3-5, with multiple clock management blunders early on and three atrocious teams (Temple, Rutgers, Memphis) to beat up on the rest of the way.

I thought someone else was the coach for three games. My bad. At least we beat Rutgers though.
