Amazing defensive effort on Bazz by usf last night. Held the AA to 7 points, probably the best team defense ever played on him. It was so good that Ollie was practically forced to sit Bazz down. To his credit, Bazz didn't look frustrated or act like it bothered him being shut down by usf and then Ollie.

Can you imagine if all remaining opponents played that way. What if the rest of the league adopts usf defensive style and strategy?

I personally don't like to see teams play such tough defense that takes our best player out of the game. We only have a few more games to watch him.

Congrats to the OP
The kind of post that made the BY famous, our is it infamous, or maybe just entertaining.

I wouldn't say Shabazz played terribly but he was shut down and the offense did seem to run smoother with Terrence Samuel running things, it should give Ollie something to think about and I wouldn't be opposed to Samuel being named the starter.

Saw some nice passes from Facey. We could use a taller, more prototypical point guard...

If anyone is going to take the starting PG spot away, it's Lenehan. He's John Stockton and Magic Johnson rolled into one.

This team showed a lot of grit, Being able to grind it out without the services of Tyler or Omar. Gutty performance

Ollie should have benched him sooner. Finally KO making good coaching decisions.

This thread is single-handedly getting me through a day of heavy wet snow with a dead snow blower.

I like how the guy I never heard of before played.

I don't know why we give out scholarships when there's so much talent just walking around campus.

I think we should bench everyone. I mean, we only had two double digit scorers, and they netted 12 and 10, respectively. Against USF??!!!!! Seriously??!!! I think we need to start looking at these walk-ons.

I'll take Bazz scoring 7 points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT 4 assists, 5 rebounds) and a 43 point win any day. Nice to know he didn't have to carry the load last night. Well balanced win.
