Do you guys think Diallo is going to reclassify? @Zionn @CallMeBruce
I swear you ask this literally once a week...

for the last time he will probably decide by this time next year (look at guys like Maverick Rowan)Do you guys think Diallo is going to reclassify? @Zionn @CallMeBruce
After consulting external sources, internal sources, and Chief's posse, here's what I have to say...
I am 100% certain that Diallo will make a decision as to whether or not he will reclassify between now and August 17th, 2016. It will happen. You can etch it in stone (but not diamond).
Stair has spoken.
You're right. My badI swear you ask this literally once a week...
Diallo's vertical seems awfully low just like Boatright's. The kid looks like a freak when he goes up for dunks.@Aman_UConn: Vertical leaps from #UAALLAMERICA:
Mamadou Diarra: 34-inch Max, 27-inch standing vert
Hamidou Diallo: 34.5-inch Max, 29-inch standing vert
Wow. Being that close to Hamidou Diallo makes you realize how athletic Diarra is. Because Diallo gets way up.
Well Ryan's Max vertical was 41" so really good. It was only his standing vertical that low. Any new's if RB is still with the Nets?Diallo's vertical seems awfully low just like Boatright's. The kid looks like a freak when he goes up for dunks.
6'8 wingspan probably makes it easy for him to finish anything in the paintDiallo's vertical seems awfully low just like Boatright's. The kid looks like a freak when he goes up for dunks.
6'10.5", Lamb type length6'8 wingspan probably makes it easy for him to finish anything in the paint
wow thats insane. His physical tools are reminiscent of Exum. (length, apparent explosive first step). Could be a special special player6'10.5", Lamb type length
hmmm draftexpress says 6'11 and draftnet says 7'1Lamb 6'4 in socks with 6'11 wingspan. Pretty much the exact same as Diallo.
Its 6'11", DE measurements are official listings from the combine. The 7'1" figure is from Calhoun being awful with numbers and the media running with it.hmmm draftexpress says 6'11 and draftnet says 7'1

Oz says
"I don't know about 2016 yet or if he stays in 2017 but he is ours!"
This sounds good to me regardless.
What kind of socks?
Another official UConn Twitter account started following him. @UConnCompliance
If this is true and Diallo comes in 2016, I can't help but think this affects Myles Powell decision a little. I know they are completely different players and we have the scholarships, but this would result in even less playing time for Powell (if he chooses to come).
Hopefully the reclassification is figured out sooner rather than later. If Diallo commits for 2017, I think we need Powell for that 2016 class that much more...
I agree. Diallo seems perfect for that 3rd guard/small SF spot that we saw Purvis and Omar play a bit last year. KO has shown he has no problem playing 3 guards.I wouldn't worry that much about it. It doesn't sound like Purvis will be here that year, so we're going to need at least two more guards. Powell will see plenty of PT if his shooting is as good as advertised.
I wouldn't be surprised if Diallo bases his reclassification decision around if Purvis is staying or leaving.I wouldn't worry that much about it.
