Maybe we’ll cover one day
Trust me. There’s nothing I want more than for Solo to return to form. And I believe he will. But right now … I actually thought he was good on the defensive glass tonight.Rock fight win. Good.
People down on Solo Ball are not real fans. There, I said it. It's a confidence thing with him right now, but he is a sorely needed ingredient on this team, as a creator, as a passer, a facilitator, and soon a 3 point bomber.
Kind of a stupid thing to harp on all game long. Surprised they had to be corrected by Dan Hurley about the win. Katz bringing that upGood news: it's a win
Bad news: post game coach (and other) interviews ... trying too hard to set/control a narrative much?
Still not sure this is a championship level offense. Maybe in the tournament they’ll start calling holds off ball, but we don’t have the shot creators of years past to make up for when our actions get “clogged” up.
Hurley is playing his best players as much as possible in tight games. With the all the timeouts, it’s not really an issue.Reibe was in foul trouble and tarris was dominating
Silas was reliable with the ball and so bringing in malachi made no sense.
Ross was still a step slow coming off the injury and for some reason was overplaying the passing lanes and gambling way too much on defense.
I think I might try to watch the next game w/o also being on chat. I have to think it's a far better experience. Half the people on chat don't deserve this team.
I liked when he was heckling them for calling a foul when Demary scored the basket and the basket was disallowed. That Seton Hall Heckler is gonna take a cold shower sitting down holding his knees.
That’s the problem. There’s nobody to take Solos minutes, Stewart wasn’t good today either, Ross was a fouling machine on defense, we’re gonna need Solo to figure it out by March.Hurley’s got to tread lightly with Solo in my opinion. He’s an emotional player and any strike to his confidence might tailspin him.
Solo’s defense then turnovers helped kickstart the elimination of the 16 pt lead, got benched, and we brought it back to 10. Hurley went with him one more time and his play got worse, more turnovers and missed assignments, and the lead evaporated.
He’s got to figure it out if we’re going to have any success in March. Malachi can’t take his minutes
Well in fairness it was one player who had 8 of the 10 misses. But he was the guy who had the best matchups to score so it wasn't a bad strategy to get the ball into him. The guys we wanted at the line late buried all of them.I give them all the credit they deserve for winning. But free throw misses will doom this team if they don’t improve.
I just think Mullins looks better than him at the 2. I would love for him to shoot well again but maybe he needs to come off the bench for a few games to get his game back.Rock fight win. Good.

Not according to Hurley. He said they won there in 2020First win in Newark since 2013. Great win in that sense. I don't respect Seton Hall's playstyle but I do respect them having a record good enough to make the tournament, which I think they probably will have.
We're at our best with both of them on the court together. He'll work through thisI just think Mullins looks better than him at the 2. I would love for him to shoot well again but maybe he needs to come off the bench for a few games to get his game back.
This team is all about the starting 5 like I thought it would be before the season started. Best starting 5 in the country. It's why I always thought UConn '24 was a better comparison for this team than UConn '23.1. I like it when we win so there’s that.
2. It’s been multiple years now where we look inept inbounding the ball. Make it make sense.
3. Our bench is becoming almost a liability. Need so much more.
4. Making free throws is an easy way to score
5. Solo is hurting us more than helping at this moment.
6. Mullins didn’t look great, but he made huge winning plays when it mattered.
7. Hurley just becomes a different coach in NJ. Thought his postgame interview was just bizarre.
8. Silas has proven to be a really clutch player. Remember when some of you wanted him benched?
9. I don’t love how SH plays, but they are always a handful. Props to Holloway for getting them to play so hard.
10. Most impressive individual in this game was angry drunken Jersey guy. Fabulous effort and intensity.
That requires one of Ross or Stewart to step up. Both have had flashes. Both were pretty bad today.I just think Mullins looks better than him at the 2. I would love for him to shoot well again but maybe he needs to come off the bench for a few games to get his game back.
How do we know that? Has there been a game were they both were clicking on offense at the same time? I can't remember one. We're at our best with both of them on the court together. He'll work through this
97 (out of 100) game score on torvik
We won, and it was an on-target analytical performance
I'm pretty happy
Stewart played good D and actually had a nice first half. He isn't going to score. His role is hustle, play D and Rebound(Only 1 today) but there was a reason he was being subbed for D at the end. He plays better D than Ball. That requires one of Ross or Stewart to step up. Both have had flashes. Both were pretty bad today.
