A rock fight in New Jersey. It is good to see the Huskies win these gritty type games. Every basket Karaban scored was a workman type basket, nothing easy. Reed was a beast. What a block by Mullins. Demary always seems in control. Just glad to get out of Jersey with the win.

Mullins just makes big plays. Good for him. Other than the FTs, Reed was the player we need him to be. It’s tough to win on the road. Good win.

1. I hate SHU’s style of “dare them to call every foul”. Awful basketball to watch.
2. That type of game helps prep this team for March.
3. SHU will be the latest BE rock fight team that finds out how much tighter tourney refs call games.
4. Val should be embarrassed that the league allows that kind of product. What a hideous game to watch. No other league allows that.
5. Say what you will about Hurley, no other coach goes apoplectic about the most blatantly obvious fouls quite like Shaheen.
6. I want to launch that guy sitting behind the announcers into the Hudson River.

I hate this conference. Seton Hall conservatively committed 70 fouls in that game, so given that, good win. What a clown show.

We get everyone's best shot and this team, at full strength, finds a way.

Conference play in the Big East will always be full of tests, no matter how strong it is any given year.

Doesn't even feel like we're clicking all the way yet. Hurley's gonna have them peaking at the right time.

Great win, but ugly win. I hate it, but I love it for the long term benefits this season. Kids have to grow up in a tense environment like that.
