Good news: it’s a win. Bad news: Solo has become unplayable. I take no pleasure in saying that
This offense was built around him, but it just doesn't work. Mostly because of off ball movement issues...and well being a 30% 3pt shooter. Not sure what the solution is, Jstew and Ross bring more all around game, but nothing much on offense.

That game was a war. We prevailed because our defense allowed us to. We need more rebounds and less turnovers going forward. Mullins Reed and Silas carried us to the finish line. Awesome WIN!!!

The whole 2nd half was like...

I think it’s the curse of having such a good team that we win and the main talking point is the things we still need to improve.

I give them all the credit they deserve for winning. But free throw misses will doom this team if they don’t improve. Have to improve the inbounding plays. And we have to get Solo rolling again.

I think two of those three are achievable.

As much as they try to lose sometimes, this team keeps finding ways to win. What a miserable second half, but they made the plays to win. Silas cold blooded at the line, Braylon with a HUGE block!

Tarris is a beast. He’ll shoot 100 FTs tomorrow, but he’s an animal. Came up huge

As long as he isn’t inbounding the ball, Karaban always makes the right decision. I feel very calm when he has the ball in every single situation…unless he’s inbounding

I still know Solo is due for another 20+ point explosion but he’s looking a little lost offensively. I think he’s going through the same mental funk AK did last year. I’m not giving up on him, but I hope he figures it out soon

Some negative feelings mixed in my notes but at the end of the day, we won and lifted the Newark curse. Let’s go Huskies!

Good news: it's a win

Bad news: post game coach (and other) interviews ... trying too hard to set/control a narrative much?
I missed it - can you expand on that please? I'm too busy pounding shots for my nerves at this point...

Starting to feel like Solo's inability to hit WIDE OPEN threes is starting to affect him and bleed into the rest of the game, his defense was nowhere near as bad as it's been the past week and he's not attentive in other areas of the game, fumbling the ball/lazy passes/missed blockouts. He's gotta snap outta this, I was shocked Hurley stuck with him as long as he did in the 2nd half, he was killing them.

Good news: it’s a win. Bad news: Solo has become unplayable. I take no pleasure in saying that
Solo seems to lose focus on defense and is hesitant on offense. I was yelling at my tv for Hurley to sub in Stewart in those final 6 minutes. There’s no excuse for Solo to knock box out on every shot.

Seton Hall doesn’t play basketball.

And the BE rewards it. That wasn’t good defense. That was we’re going to foul constantly because they can’t call them all.

That terrible call almost turned the game. Just terrible.
With legitimate refs we win that game by 25. Our offense was restricted by holds all game so we had no choice but to go to Reed. And they hacked him at will.
