So it’s ok to give someone a wide open shot ? I coached high school for 11 years and been a basketball junkie since the 60’s and I never knew that. There was a play today in the first half when Ross went out on a 3 point Hall shooter in the corner and instead of jumping and fouling he put his arm up and let the Hall player shoot. That is a huge improvement in situational awareness. Saw this from other players as well. We have a small window to win games vs top level teams and not giving away points will give us a chance to survive and advance.
3 meals a day is overrated, ever notice your energy level is different with less food.
Haaaa. It really does seem this way.Losing is much more popular with this crowd.
There's lots of competition for who has the sharpest eye and tongue and pen to fashion the surest, toughest take.
Sometimes it's as though, "Winning? That's for losers."
Hurley showing his appreciation for Samson, and got emotional. Glad that Samson played well today and infront of his parents. This one is worth a watch.
Agreed, but in the direction of more meals, get that Hobbit life on.I can confirm this, 3 meals a day is not good for anyone.
Love our coach! On to the Big East Tournament. This one is worth a watch.
I’m sorry, do you really think that posts on this forum affect the outcome of basketball game?I have an idea find a gym, maybe some high school gym, the Hurley's know jersey, warm up there, then go on the bus and show up right before game time, mess with Seton Halls head at least. Oh yeah maybe no bad mojo pre game quotes on the boneyard could help.
Are you new to the yard??? Of course they do. Everyone knows that. We all have to do our part. MOJO baby!I’m sorry, do you really think that posts on this forum affect the outcome of basketball game?
That was weird.Haaaa. It really does seem this way.
I've become a much more positive poster after 2 dominant runs. The past 2 rings have made me a better father, son and husband.
Just the other day I walked outside on a crisp, late winter morning and thought of Nahiem Alleyne, and smiled.

I offer that mojo must rise, as I'm watch Ray Manzarek playing "LA Woman" in a YouTube documentary that just 'happens' to be fed to me by the algorithm. This is the mojo we need as a fanbase.
What if UConn's head coach goes into Seton Hall's environment and gets affected as though by spirits & forces from earlier times?I feel like our team gets drugged whenever they go there. No other explanation works

I wholly disbelieve that you are sorry.I’m sorry, do you really think that posts on this forum affect the outcome of basketball game?
Somebody - maybe not Hurley - needs to apply some kind of Jersey road game sage treatment. That could be - there’s some kinda unseen evil at a bare minimum
Same with Samson's one handed alley-oop.So will Hassan and Samson lob dunk .ake the highlights on ESPN Sportscenter ? That was fun - reminded me of Khalid El.Amin and Freeman oop.

My wife and I moved to two meals a day eaten between noon and 6 great for energy, weight loss and expense!3 meals a day is overrated, ever notice your energy level is different with less food.
Uhh No.Aka bow legged, as those from the old country call it. And yes he does.
Hassan and others have been down this road before. These guys are elite athletes and young, they will be fine. Our team does non stop drills with no water breaks. Obviously aren't doing those practices now. It’s not the lack of food that’s concerning, it’s the lack of water. Going 3-4 days without food isn’t a big deal.
I missed the first part of game since I was watching game in a bar and they showed conclusion of St Johns.Samson was really good today, 3 straight games now.
Maybe he should stick to the Ramadan food schedule permanently. It seems to give him extra energy.
I think with Samson he has to learn to stay on the court and stop making foolish fouls. The guy has NBA atlhletic talent to be a valuable rim runner in the NBA. But he has to be more consistent. Maybe he can end his season playing well in all of our games and goes on an all time high. He will need to continue rebound better like he has recently. He might not be on draft radars but he would be if we win the Tournament or make a deep run and he playing like a highlight film in those games. He has a smaller Derek Lively feel to his game in the way he plays. Obviously he will be lucky to be drafted in even the 2nd round but a great BE and March Madness Tournaments can help raise his draft ceiling to a 2nd rounder. It is a long shot but even Hurley mention he has an outside chance of making the NBA with his talent.I missed the first part of game since I was watching game in a bar and they showed conclusion of St Johns.
But Samson has looked good in last few games. It could be food schedule or Samson wanting to go out in blaze of glory. Dan said that Samson has been in a funk since he bleeds blue and realizes his time at UConn is coming to a close. Samson might as well leave it alll on the floor.
I loved the big smile on his face when he exited the game.
You new to our team? Our core will not be that!It was nice to get a sneak preview of next years team. Mahanney/Nowell, Ball, Ross, Stew, and Reed. Abraham first off bench
If Samson continues the way he has played these last 2 games his stock will rise. Imo, if he gets drafted NBA game is more suitable for him. He was known comming out of HS as a shooter that we have not seen here at UConn. We might see it in the tourney though.
