I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she came to Uconn. She is a good tough player she would be getting more than a couple of minutes !. We can use her !
 
Well Well Well I dont think Geno is finished yet. We are loaded and we have shooters/scorers and a suffocating defense all with depth. Im sure Geno talked to the team about this. Sarah and Azzi will be 1st team AAs. Serah will be an AA. Blanca very well could be NFOY. I see the competition between players and playtime enormous. Everybody will get good minutes because theyve earned it. We are a more athletic team with Serah and Blanca. Now Geno puts his thumb on them and they will become even better. One thing this team has is a team mentality. Unselfess mentality that you need in a T>E>A>M. We are not only good we are loaded and I dont think Geno is finished yet.

Those are people that don't know what they are talking about ! They are afraid to improve our team because it may take a couple of minutes away from their favorite players. If you want to compete at this level you have to get the best players available.

Seriously, what team were you watching this past year? Please just go down the lineup, hard, dang impossible for me to see where we can't make up points, I's be much more concerned with who will be the team leader.

If Caroline is healthy, and Blanca is what people say she is that’s at least 8 to 10 each. With better rebounding more shot opportunities – 6 to 10 Jana 4 to 8 ice 2 to 6 Morgan 6 to 10. If Connecticut can become a dominant rebounding team 90+ points. A game is not unrealistic with the fire power they have. Add in a more mature KK and slap another 6 to 10 on top of that and who knows what Ali will give us as well as Fisher and Patterson. I believe the points will pile up as soon as this team gels and has a true leader and just who that is still up in the air, I believe. Maybe the two seniors step up

u assume this will continue next season. i sure hope it will, but i will wait and see. ... the chemistry is bound to be different and the selflessness among the NC12 crew was extraordinary. be great if it's achieved again.

That's with Paige and Kaitlyn in the loop and Azzi missing part of the season.....like every year since I've been following UConn WBB there's always a panic when a star leaves but that's when it's reset time for the next star (or two) to make a big leap forward.......do you think that Sarah will be a more consistent scorer next season in her sophomore year? I do......and the same can be said of Azzi in her final UConn season.....she came back to prove to the team and herself that she is the big-time scorer that she was always thought to be but also the team leader.......if she can stay healthy I expect her to have an All American type season.....do you think that Ash will continue growing as an excellent all around player who can further refine her offensive game? I do......if she gets the playing time I think we will see another big jump in her play.......regarding Blanca, nobody knows for sure how she will perform in her initial season at UConn but judging strictly on the video that we have seen I think she's a lock to be a really good addition to the team and before long she could be far more than that......keep the faith!!:)

You only have 2 point guards, one of whom is a freshman. There were plenty of times last year when Geno went small ball with both KC and KK out there with Sarah, Paige and Azzi whether he pressed or not. She is an excellent defender and will fit right in. Plus, she gets a chance to play on a contender for the trophy and to develop her game. Honestly, my take is that if she was worried about playing time she wouldn't be visiting. Who wouldn't want to play on this team now? Yikes, 2 AAs for sure and maybe 3.

True, but defense wins championships, and you only need to score more than the other team by taking good open looks, having the players to make them, and having options so if anyone is being doubled or is having a bad day, the next option picks them up without long stretches. It should be fun to see the bigs improve with all the true competition in practices.

Rest of the scoring? Just the averages add up to 97, how many PPG do you think UConn is going to score? :eek: The other teams are going to milk the shot clock and limit UConn's possessions so that they can't get enough shots to score that much. And I doubt Auriemma will press BE teams beyond the 1st half.
