Cue up the Dickie V tweet next:
Aren’t self imposed sanctions typically done with the NCAA's input so that they are accepted by the NCAA without additional penalties? So I'll assume this is it. And I agree it's not too bad. We can live with 12 scholarship players next season. The 1 week hiatuses shouldn't hurt that much.If it stops here, this is fine but I have a feeling NCAA will add on more.
Well, Thursday’s budgetary news + today’s KO-inspired NCAA news could be laying all of the cards on the table before UConn’s BoT announces a new president.Quality Friday news dump by AD Dave.
Are you too young to remember 2012? This is nothing compared to what happened then and how bad that hurt the programThanks Kev

Just an educated guess. But if they're going after Wahab and checking JUCO and hinting at grad transfers I think they expect to bring in a couple more guys.
For such a dirty program we suck at cheating.
2019 off to a blazing start. Any chance this scared off our recruiting target today? Or Kofi for sure? We really seem to drop the ball at the worst times.Had to know we weren't getting off scot-free. If the penalties are limited to those self-imposed, it's not too bad.

Good. I know this isn’t the worst but it’s just a lot of drama this past 50 something months.None.
We definitely didn't get off easy but I think we might get more knowing that that the NCAA is the most corrupt organization outside of FIFA.This is the same penalty as teams get for paying players, except for a postseason ban (which we may have done last year!?!). So I would not say it is easy.
Parenteau is a clown. Every time the guy opens his mouth he proves himself even more foolish and incompetent than previously thought. I wouldn’t hire that guy to defend a parking citation.I guess Parenteau forgot about the NCAA independently charging Ollie with major violations including lieing to them?
Hathaway? Nahhhhh, couldn’t have been negligent.I've long maintained this. In fact, it's one of my biggest gripes with the whole APR thing. Gross negligence on the part of the AD and the program.
Bilas is lame, his whole take is lame. Amazing how many mouth breathers who know nothing of the case just blindly agree with a stupid tweet without question. Come on UConn fans, call bilas out, media has no right to spread false nonsense about UConn, last thing the school needs.
This is tremendously stupidView attachment 38459
