Well, I guess we should have expected getting Vanderbilt with the teacher vs student thing, but the rest of the sectional is a cakewalk to the FF.

The committee likes their storylines, so, of course, we'd get Shea & Vandy. Plus the battle between Sarah and Mikayla for POTY.

UConn's first opponent - UTSA (University of Texas San Antonio). Middle of the pack in the AAC. Won their tournament. Saw then play South Florida back in January. USF beat them 70 - 53. Nuf said.

In this instance, the storyline had nothing to do with it. As the 4th best SEC team, Vandy was a lock for UConn’s region.
