We would play NC state or TAMU in final four if we get there. Stanford to play SC or Maryland if they get there

I think it might have been a compromise for the committee given how close Stanford and UConn were. They certainly gave Stanford the more dangerous Final Four matchup in SC and MD -- so giving UConn Baylor was only fair.

Charlie Creme had DePaul as the last team in & BYU as the first team out. The committee thought otherwise.

There was no UConn to cut to, so they had to put something there. All the other teams they are showing the watch parties.

UConn never really does that sort of show watching photo op.
