The Mississippi State at Texas game is interesting. Tennessee also plays at Texas soon.

Thanks. It'll be interesting. As you predict I'm afraid it will show how far the SEC has fallen. Baylor MSU would have been the better matchup.

LSU is very bad this year

Ole Miss has some rebuilding to do

Amazing how good Florida sports are but WBB continues to struggle.

  • #11 Tennessee at Oklahoma State

You're probably right picking Tenn in this one. OK St is undefeated but hasn't played any team worth mentioning. The Vols were an undisciplined hot mess against UAB over the weekend but OK St may not be as well coached as UAB.

If you watch, I think you will find Ok. State to be well coached. I picked Tennessee based on the discrepancy in raw talent and athleticism. Last year Tennessee won by 10 points on a neutral floor.

Wow Jessica Washington still playing for Kansas. Kansas wins at LSU 68-61 to be 6-0. Washington 12 pts, 3-10 shooting, 4-10 ft, 3 asts, 2 TO’s.
Next game for Kansas is big Dec 5 at Nebraska

She tore her ACL before the start of last season. Nice to see her back.

HEY! You stole my line! ;) While the ACC/Big10 had 14 games with only BC Eagles on the pine, this matchup will only be 10 games with 4 SEC schools on the pine.

Well the Big 12 started strong at 2-0 and my prognostication was ABYSMAL on the ACC/Big10, predicted 11-3 and actual was 8-5 ACC (Syr-MN) still playing. My guess is 7-3 Big 12. Not sure why Plebe has 8-3. This sort portends the current theory on how down the SEC is this year.

The Big 12 got off to a 2-0 start on Thursday with wins by Kansas (at LSU) and TCU (at Ole Miss).

It's too bad the conference offices didn't pair up Baylor vs. Mississippi State and Texas vs. South Carolina. I think those matchups would have been far more compelling and evenly matched.

I still think SC can give Baylor some trouble. Hope so at least. I wanna see some jacket tossing!!

Texas WBB keepin' it real in Austin today. The first 1,000 through the turnstiles get this...

Florida up65-61 over Texas Tech with 53 seconds left in the game but trying its hardest to lose

Both teams trying to lose, lol. This is an ugly game

Meanwhile, TCU is up 14 over Army in the Maggie Dixon Classic at halftime

And Florida “upsets”Texas Tech 72-67 for its first win of the season

Good for them. Really surprising to see a School like Florida with a lot of successful programs struggle so much with WBB

OkST up over TN 43-40 end of first half but Westbrook is having a great game 8-8. No one else

As you indicated they were actually favored. Glad to see them get a win. I always worry Miss State's old traitor AD who took our football coach may pay Vic a kings ransom to pull UF out of their misery. Doubt it. More worried about TAMU.

Ended in a 5-5 tie. The Florida-Texas Tech and Missouri-West Virginia results were mild "upsets."

Winning teams in bold:

Thu., Nov. 29
  • Kansas at LSU
  • TCU at Ole Miss
Sun., Dec 2
  • #6 Mississippi State at #10 Texas
  • Texas Tech at Florida
  • Vanderbilt at Kansas State
  • Arkansas at #23 Iowa State
  • #11 Tennessee at Oklahoma State
  • Oklahoma at Auburn
  • Missouri at West Virginia
  • #4 Baylor at #18 South Carolina

I honestly have a hard time predicting the conference this season. I guess it will be a battle of who sucks less that day

Is that a bad loss for Oklahoma? Whatever happened to them, they used to have a strong program.

Has anyone noticed that Chelsea Dungee is playing for Mike Neighbors at Arkansas after transferring from Oklahoma? She had a nice game her Fr. year for OU when they got thrashed by UW in the 2nd round of the '17 Tourney. Neighbors got a good look at a future player for him, right before he bailed from Seattle.

Tennessee goes as Evina Westbrook goes. Evina looked great today. Evina managed the Tennessee team very well today, great passing, and, she was a weapon today, breaking down the OK State defense, and scoring at will. Tennessee has athletes, but, still see a team that has to improve a bunch to make it beyond Sweet 16 this year.

Well, Holly is still there so....

My post was really meant to call out the great game Evina Westbrook had today. I watched quite a few WBB games today, and the two players that had the best games today were CW of UCONN, and, Evina Westbrook of Tennessee.

I said this before the season started. Davis may be the most talented player on the team. I think Westbrook will be the most improved. Yes great game today. Also Zaay Green is going to be a good one.

It appears Evina has superseded her programming.
Actually Rick Barnes the men's coach. Did work with Evina on her shot. In the off season.
