The committee's reveal was as of Saturday's games ending on February 28. They had Vandy at 5 overall, and LSU at 7 overall. On Sunday, Vandy picks up a Q1 win at Tennessee; LSU gets a Q2 win at MIss. State, I think. So, advantage gained by Vandy to end the regular season.
Today, Vandy loses to Ole Miss for the second time this season. LSU picks up its second win over Top 15 Oklahoma.
If LSU beats South Carolina, then they for sure move above Vandy. If not, then the committee splits hairs with those recent wins/losses since last Sunday to determine their final ranking.
