UConn 84 - 59 Stanford A 25 point margin of victory seems about right given all the variables that favor the Huskies.!

opening post. it appears that a margine of victory is relevant

Uptempo game with Stanford's new offense, closer than most expect - Uconn 92 - Stanford 78

Rady are you well... do I know you from somewhere, you're behavior towards me is strange! Every post I make you have something to say about it. Please put me on ignore, I beg you! As a matter of fact, Im gonna put you on ignore so I can make the mods job easier.

(edit) that looks better already, first IGNORE ever!
(edit) and OP's margin of victory has a score attached to it... title of the thread. my margin of victory is 32

I think this one is going to be a lot closer than most think but UConn will eventually pull away and win 74-58.

80 - 59 UCONN. Our defense is too much the their guards.

I predict we will score enough to win.........

Uconn beats a good Stanford team by around 20 points. This Stanford team not so good. I'll say 79-51 Uconn.

Tara has had all off season to work up a game plan. She's a great game coach. Stanford has a great home court and I'm expecting a much closer game then many expect. UConn wins 72-59

Last season with Chiney Stanford scored 35 pts. Stanford has 2 starters back and is depending on freshman and a new system that they are still not completely comfortable with. I predicted Stanford would score 58 pts against UConn tonite only because I really believe UConn will have this game put away early and clear the bench early in the second half. If UConn doesn't clear their bench early in the second half then I don't see Stanford scoring 58pts. I still don't believe fans realize how good this UConn team is. IMO this could be the greatest team in the history of WCBB and I say that because of the athletic height, speed, and lack of turnovers. Having 4 former number 1 HS players helps too.

I was so far off in my prediction last game that I was thinking of waiting to post after the game, the opposite of awarding the player of the game before you watch it.;)
But I will go with 85-65 UConn.

I think the folks who keep Stanford under 60 have it right. And, since I think UConn can put 80 up on dam' near anybody, what with TBS, KML, MJ et al, I'll join the "comfortable margin" club at 82-55.

Geno's guys - 84
Vandersneer's Trees - 66

I was looking at all the predictions, mine included, and wonder if maybe we are a bit too enthusiastic for UCONN's offense this early in the season. I originally thought UCONN would win somewhere in the 'hood of 86-51, and while i do think Stanford will score in the 50's, I'm not so sure UCONN will get to the mid 80's. Of course it's possible, but Stanford is a good team who traditionally plays tough D against us, and I don't know if our offense is strong enough to score much over 70-75. We will see of course, and I can't change my prediction, but I may have over shot a bit...

90 - 63... In favor of the blue team.

I think that I shall never see
A Husky that ignores a tree.
