Score prediction thread for Temple

Next up, the Temple Owls in their Cherry and White colors so familiar to many of us from the good old days of Big Five double headers at Penn's Palestra. (Had the opportunity to compete there in high school, and during two years of college: one of my most vivid basketball memories remains the sight of a desperate last second hook shot, from in front of the hoop, settling thru the net to give Cornell a neutral court upset play-off win, ending our Sophomore year and sending the Big Red to the NCAAs....a kid named Buncam, as I recall.)

As always, who wins it.....by what margin.....and, as a tie-breaker should that be needed, what is your call on the exact score? By the way, still have not found/made the time to weigh in on another perspective re the outcome of the Houston prediction competition......do plan to get to it and soon. Good luck and/or wisdom.

Honestly, y'all, I don't see how Temple even gets to 50. Their offense is surprisingly inept for a UCONN-tree coach I watched them struggle vs. USF - sure they scored 20 in the 4th quarter and made the game seem close, but USF ran WAY more offense than Temple did. If I were Tonya (and thank God I'm not LOL), I'd sit their PG on the bench until she learned how to be a PG.

In other words, being a PG does NOT mean you dribble the ball around, jack up a 3-ball every, or drive like a crazy person into 3 defenders and throw up a high degree of difficulty shot praying for a foul. Truly - the kid has some moxie, is a good shooter, and has some ball handling skills, but has no clue how to run an offense, and I put that on Tonya.

I don't think UCONN runs up the score and I don't think we score much over 80 given that Temple is a pretty good defensive team...so...
