The Ducks in their Green and Gold, wings flapping in determined fury, are next up.

Your thoughts on which team will be the victor, by what margin of victory, and what is your prediction of the exact score? Regarding updates on the previous UCONN game results and on the Boneyard Fearless Forecaster Championship, will try to get to a library computer tomorrow to get up to date all around - right now on a hotel's only computer - time limited. Good luck and/or good wisdom re the Ducks.

95-58 UConn. I do expect a slow start with Oregon slowing down the pace but once they fall behind the game will speed up. At least I hope so. It is hard to play defense for 25 to 30 seconds every time down the court. Gabby and Pheesa should have great games with their quickness.

I'm thinking a UCONN win by at least 30, although I hope the Ducks can keep it more respectable than that. Oregon is too young, can be a turnover waiting to happen at times, and has no one that can cover Gabby and Pheesa. This is a good, and rapidly improving young team that can even handle (at times) a team as athletic as UCLA (they split this season), but not an athletic team that is as good offensively and defensively as UCONN.

UCONN will not sleep on Oregon, in fact, I believe we see a focused, engaged, invigorated, and aggressive Huskie Bunch against the upstart Oregon Ducks... a stiff defense, and crisp offense in a game that will be closer than we would like to see. I'm going UCONN 80 to Oregon 67.

Oregon has as much chance of winning this game as a 7-foot man has of getting in the White house wearing a burqa. No this won't mess up the mojo because the players are well coached, take every game seriously, and will try to win every possession regardless of the score.Uconn 92-62 over Oregon.I see where they all have t-shirts that have,"We're staying"on them.Does that mean the Ducks will have a bigger bill?

85-61, UConn over Oregon.

Lou not going just to watch Karlie. Not gonna let that happen.

UCONN 82 - 55; I agree on the slow start due to Ducks trying to duck a landslide, but the young team will break, and 111 will be in the books.

I believe this game will mirror the last few games. There offense will have some difficulty against the waddle defense. The offense will also find it difficult to drive on the slippery floor. And that's the straight poop. But Uconn hangs in there is a tight game.

UConn 136
Oregon 15

Neither offense nor defense were great against UCLA, and while I expect some improvement, the defensive side has been somewhat lacking at times all year. That said we should win by a comfortable enough margin.

UConn 86-68 Oregon

UConn 84 Oregon 60. I envision this being similar to the UCLA game. If we leave Bando as wide open as Maryland did it'll be a bit closer though.

85 to 55. I think Oregon feels the pressure a little.

This is a tough one. Because they have so many young players this could be ugly fast if Oregon freaks out. However since they feel they are playing with house money and traditionally this is the toughest game pressure wise along the road our jitters may even things up a bit. I'll call for a little lower scoring affair this time. 79-63

UConn 87 - Oregon 64
