Coming up real soon (still digesting the Pats win) we have the Bearcats of and at Cincy, in their traditional Red and Black. Unfortunately, they are one of the conference teams that we'll only see once this season.

Will have to check with CARNAC on this, but rumor has it that they will pull out all the stops to claw their way to a victory,, but will stop short of dressing (or cross-dressing?) former Cincy and Crispus Attacks great, Oscar Robertson, in a desperate attempt to pull down our Huskies.

As always, who wins it, by what margin, and if the usual tie-breaker should be needed, what's your prediction for the actual score? Good luck to all.

OK, let me be the first to throw my prediction into the hat.
Massey sez.......UConn 91 - Cin 43

I say: UConn 95 - Cincinnati 44 MOV= 51

I expect UConn to come out aggressively from the tip, in response to their last lackluster first 20 minutes against Tulsa. I'm sure Geno has told them he does not want to see that type of display tomorrow night.
I think during the first 10 minutes of this one, UConn will have on their track shoes. The first quarter should be a sprint race. After a 14-5 start, the Bearcats have lost their last 3 conference games (UCF, Tulane, USF) by an average of 15 points. They've scored an average of 54.5 points in those losses. You don't need a turban or cape to figure out how this is going to turn out. :)

Definitely looks like something in the 90`s versus something in the 40`s.

Hold on now, no rash predictions.....

The fact that it is an evening game and sounds like they should be embarrassed by the first half in the Tulsa game (I did not see it) leads me to think this game will be an offensive fireworks display.

The Huskies win
Score will 98 to 52
MOV of 46

Katie Lou should be 7 for 7 from 3 point land to offset last games performance. Or we're doomed. UConn 91-47

The problem for the Bearcats and Jamelle - and, I root like hell for Jamelle - is that the Huskies are coming off a couple a' games where they've not been firing on all cylinders and their coach has called them out for it.

This is not good.

Normally, I think the Huskies and Geno run out to a big lead at half, and ease up a bit halfway through the third quarter. Unfortunately, I think the foot ain't coming off the gas - and, this is from the kids, not from Geno - until into the fourth quarter. And, the impact will be more on the defensive end than the offensive. 87-39, Huskies.

88 - 49. A bit tougher on the road with only 2 days between. Geno was joking about this saying "maybe no practice. Our team hates to practice ..."
