Dawn just decided she didn't want North Carolina to score any more.
 
SC will likely come out ready for Duke and play better. They seem like a fast learning bunch. I still expect Duke to put up a good fight on their home court. Duke is better than most think this year, they have rebuilt quickly and nicely imo.

You should probably watch the video before making a judgment call. The reporter that asked the question seemed to be hunting for a quote (they asked an iffy question earlier in the presser). Dawn responded in jest with a joke that was based in reality. Historical context is important here as well.. this used to be series that was canceled by UNC once SC got rolling. Dawn was complimentary to UNC throughout, especially Utsby (sp).
 
What Thursday showed is that this is SC’s and LSU’s year. They are the powers to beat. There are substantial contenders, UCLA Utah Texas and USC and maybe Iowa. But they all have a hill to climb. I wish I could add UConn to this list, but the cards seem to keep falling the wrong way for the Huskies.

Two of them apparently from a tweet by WBB account, which is less than past years when 4 or 5 would travel a couple times a year. The trips seem to be getting pricier than years past so fans possibly choosing to drive themselves to Durham instead, or maybe the Cam Crazies have started to discover they have a WBB program too and will occupy more of the house and less tix are available than normal.

I would think more of yall fans would come this year than the last time we played, which was on a Thursday evening. I'm sure I'll pass some Scar fans on the highway before the game... perhaps I'll even welcome them with a salute ;)

Tickets were gone in the lower levels..... tickets were available in the upper section, but not that many. This was last week when I checked last

Let your people know if they want some pre-game carbs.... make a stop at Daily Donuts Exit 147. If you let them know that I sent yall... they will probably throw in a few donut holes in your bag for free.
 
Does Duke even have a serviceable 5 on their team? UNC had a good one, and it impacted the game big time. I don’t see anything like that on the devil roster. Prediction?……….Pain. You better believe SC is going to establish Cardoso early and often. Raven will make it so, she has seen the scouting report on devil team’s bigs.

Maybe no 5, but they still rank #3 in blocks per game
 
So at which point of the season does South Carolina become the longest active streak of weeks in the rankings?

Are you implying that UConn will drop out at some point this season? It's a long season still ahead of us and I'm confident that Geno can reverse their current trends. I think UConn fans are hopeful it will happen sooner than later...

Yes. If they lose by double digits in Austin, becomes a real possibility.

Edited: Not this week, but moves them to the zone where another bad week could see them falling out.

Would still need another 2 or 3 losses to convince the voters to drop them out. Their history would give them the benefit of doubt. That’s no slight at UConn. USC got some of that in subpar ‘18-‘19 season when that team lost a few games early that season and the voters kept the Gamecocks in the rankings.
