The guy announcing with her is aweful too.
OSU is a 'one trick pony'...as Mitchell goes, so goes OSU. Today she took 28% of their total shots and shot 22%!
She tried to go with what looked like a pretty seriously sprained wrist (it was sure wrapped up heavily.)Mitchell went 4-18 from the floor. Alston had 0 points and only played 10 minutes. I believe she suffered an injury in the previous game.
Yes - this version actually gets shots up about 85% of the time versus the old 'bad' offense that was throwing the ball away about 35% of the time instead of shooting.Tennessee's offense, my goodness. 22 or 23 seconds of dribbling followed by a contested midrange jumper. And this is the "improved" version of Tennessee.
I think Paul Sunderland is really good.

because they were ice cold). And Diamond's attempted manufacture of a 'Willis Reed' moment never had a chance. That point-a-minute juggernaut known as the Lady Vols just lost to Mississippi State, 58-48.
Only watched the 4th Q, but she looked like the best player on the floor to me.Mississippi's Vivian kid, taking the game over
Actually, the final seemed to be Miss State 58, Diamond 48. Down the stretch I don't know if anyone but her touched the ball - that included bringing it up the court and forcing any old shot she decided on. Yes she has basketball skills. No she's not a good basketball player. Last I checked it wasn't a 1 on 1 game on the blacktop...Final Tenn 48, Miss St 58
I've got a feeling this could be the year. TN doesn't have the juice anymore with the committee...we're far enough removed from the Summitt era. The committee may at last decide not to protect them from us anymore...for the good of the game.I'd love to see the LadyVols in our bracket as an 8 or 9 seed, but sadly, they might not be good enough to get past their first opponent to face us.
Worse. Both of them are.And they are a tournament team? Really?
