Saturday (3/9) games

I'm afraid ND has been a bit bored to this point in the season and has now decided it's time to win a couple of tourneys.

Yeah, Blair wants to do TV. Obviously it's her first year and she's learning, but I think she's going to be good. She has a pleasant personality and knows the game.

She's called a few of our games with the radio guys and brings a lot of insight (obviously since she knows all the players and shares DNA with the HC).
IIRC, she came here for grad school.

Well, Tennessee's chances just got a little better. West Virginia lost to Kansas State. :(

UConn is not listed on ESPN3. Any suggestions?

They are on ESPN3. Providing you have a Cable Provider and you have the ESPN channels.

I have never seen a more satisfying unopposed missed layup than the one Arike just totally flubbed. Maybe they will show that 24 hours a day on ESPN rather than replay the make from last year? ;)
Arike is like Kelsey Mitchell: she never saw a shot she didn't like, and she doesn't play D.

On the subject of where are they now, the best moment in Friday's SEC halftime of TAMU and Auburn was TAMU alum Courtney Walker, now a computer software designer, trying to explain computer server architecture to Andy Landers and Nell Fortner. Refreshing change of pace, student athletes & so on.

The ESPN Schedule page now has a 2:15 start time...oops, they are wrong again.

I'm not sure whether to call it an impressive finish by South Florida or an awful collapse by Houston.

Either way, the Bulls outscored the Coogs 39-21 in the 2nd half to pull away. Jose Fernandez's squad awaits the winner of UConn-ECU

Gotta hand it to USF. They've endured a lot of adversity but they're still kicking.

NC State leads Louisville, 10-7, 4:56 left 1st quarter. Kai Crutchfield and Ace Konig have THREEs for NC State. Asia Durr has yet to score.

NC State up now 16-9...timeout Louisville, 2:59 left 1st quarter.

NC State leads Louisville, 21-17, after 1 quarter. Durr with only 2 points for Louisville. Kai Crutchfield and Elissa Cunane with 7 points each for NC State.

NC State just out-hustling Louisvllle right now...32-22, Wolfpack...5:15 left 2nd quarter.

Louisville with back-to-back THREEs...34-28, NC State, at the under 5 minute media timeout.

Hmm...Durr drives in for a layup and the ball gets wedged between the rim and blackboard. Louisville run continues, however...Pack lead down to 1.

Baylor looks damn good right now

Love Ursin and Smith on the floor at the same time.

NC State unraveling. 2 fouls now on Kiara Leslie, DD Rogers and Elissa Cunane. Wes Moore gets a technical. Durr hits 1 of 2 FT. 37-34, Louisville. Rainbow THREE for Durr...40-34. 15-0 run for Louisville.

Halftime: Louisville leading NC State, 44-34. Cardinals finished the quarter on a 19-0 run.

I knew it was a big run, but didn't realize it was 19-0

NC State played the last few minutes without either Rogers, Leslie or Cunane in the game...we didn't make any shots and had four or five turnovers in that span.

Louisville run extended to 21-0...now NC State on a run. 52-47, Cards...NC State's DD Rogers to the line for two FT when play resumes. 4:01 left, 3rd quarter. Kiara Leslie with 4 quick points...she's starting to heat up.
