He was back on bench at end of game. I don't know if that means anything but I'd say encouraging.

We need him to the pressure off Ryan b. dham can't have the ball in his hands too much also as he is lose with the balls at times. My prayers are with Tarrence Samuels!

It is still early enough in the year to get a medical redshirt, if it comes to that. Not a great situation for this year's team, though - basically, Hamilton becomes the back up point guard.

Cassell was buried on the bench tonight, but he's still the backup IMO.

If Cassell sees significant minutes, then this year is over. He is a rich man's RJ Evans - great against DII talent, overwhelmed by DI talent. He will be a 5 minute a game spotter the rest of the way.

It looked like his ankle on the replays. Hopefully he bounces back in a game or two.

It really doesn't mean anything. If it is any kind of bad knee problem the knee would be too swolen to get much out of a sideline examination.

I cant figure out why Cassell can't plant his butt in the short corner and let Boat hit him for open threes. He is 6'4''.
He should be able to get the shot up. Ollie should put in the corner and make him shoot hundred threes a day.
At worse someone will have to stay out there with him and open up the court. Just bring one thing to the table.

The trainer was working on him which made me think ankle. You don't work on an ACL.

I don't think it was as bad as it looked. He couldn't put any weight on his leg, but they didn't carry him off the floor. If it was a severe injury I don't think he returns to the bench, either.

If ACL was the issue we wouldn't have seen him back on the bench, so there's some consolation in that.

According to the Courant fellow, it's a foot injury.

It'll be evaluated tomorrow.

Looked like he got his foot stepped on... Could be a high ankle sprain
When I saw the replay, that's what I thought. At first I thought the worst, ACL, but the replay looked like a high ankle sprain type injury. That's an injury that depending on its severity, can take quite some time to heal and it sure looked like a bad one. Of course that a whole lot better than blowing out one's knee.

Hopefully the news tomorrow won't be as bad as some think.
