Anyone else think that Nembhard's 3 pt release kinda reminds of AJ's? It's that wierd push low release but goes in a decent percentage...

This St. Peter’s team has my total rooting interest the rest of the way. For those old enough to remember… giving me serious AJ Wynder/Jeff Gromos/Tim O’Toole mid-80s Fairfield Stags vibes.

Drew Timme is so impressive. He has like Sanogo level post moves and footwork but can operate on the perimeter and shoot 3s. He’s the only reason they won this game.

Gonzaga treated like Duke but have won nothing. I hope Zags never win a title.

Officiating was fine in Gonzaga/Memphis. Penny should think about how much it sucks having to play a team as good as Gonzaga in the second round next time he is picking up mid season losses to Georgia, ECU and UCF. Win those games, and Memphis would have had a better seed.

It looks like good footwork because it’s traveling

Wow, Taze Moore is impressive. Incredible motor and does a little bit of everything. Every team in the tournament would want a Taze Moore on their squad.

Houston just plays great D. Once Kofi was killing them inside they started to double team him and make others beat them. So far it i working. Too bad Dan Hurley doesn't understand how to control the hot hand.

Maybe it's just all the short shorts they wear, but Houston seems really fit. Lots of dudes that run really well.

For that matter, Carlton got thin at UCONN, but not as thin as he is now.

Looks like that suffocating D is going to win it for Houston. Congrats to another sweet 16 appearance.

Good for Josh happy for that kid!

As far as Illinois, that can be us if we don’t get better shooters and ball handlers. Turnovers, too dependent upon Cockburn (Sanogo for us) and easy to prepare for. Wait, it was us hope that changes.

Why is Sampson still in that dumpster fire of a conference?

Dude can coach

Sampson is already a HOF coach. He got a raw deal at Indiana.

Congrats to Josh, I think he can get onto an NBA roster.
