RIP Bill Walton

Man this one hurts. I was only 9 years old but I remember everything about the '86 Celtics clear as day, and then he became a legend all over again as a commentator.

At least he didn't have to live in a world without the Pac 12. A legend who played the game the way it should be played, and lived life how it ought to be lived. Rest in peace Big Red.

Very sad to hear this news. He was a great guy and was his own character in his playing days and as a broadcaster he truly enjoyed life. You could totally tell he enjoyed watching the way our team played.

Terribly sad. Love him or not, the sports world just lost a living legend.

To be honest, good for him as someone his size making it to 71.

Just saw this - mourning in PDX for a great Trailblazer, trailblazer and Husky admirer.
