Sarah won’t be 2nd team next season
Sarah can slide into Paige's spot and Azzi can slide into Juju's spotSarah can slide right into Paige's vacant space!
Avg acl recovery is about 9 months. She could be back by Jan.I think there’s no way Juju plays at all next season. Why risk it for just a few games, on the most optimistic rehab calendar?

At what speed, what timing, what condition? If you talk to anyone who has had it, it's usually a second year back to true form injury.Avg acl recovery is about 9 months. She could be back by Jan.
This is my expectation, too. She could well return in January, though that's optimistic. But as you say, returning and returning to AA form are two very different things. I suppose Juju wouldn't care about burning the possibility of a red shirt season, since I doubt she'd want to delay entering the W. It might even be a good idea to use next spring to get ready for the following season. At what speed, what timing, what condition? i would say 5 ... let's let 'em earn it in the new season. (i expect too muchWill be tough for JuJu to make first team I think. So really two vacant spots on 1st team

Her returning even by midseason would not be on the most optimistic rehab calendar. There are many players who have returned in seven months or less. It all depends on whether there are other issues and whether she wants to push the rehab.
One example that many UConn fans will remember is Jessica Moore. She was injured in the championship game in April 2024 and played in the first game in November later in 2024. Less than seven months from surgery to playing in a real game. And there have been a number of documented cases of football players returning in less than six months.
I doubt that juju will have a turnaround that fast, but it is certainly very possible to do it in nine months or less.
