Reminder... Tenn at Rutgers tonight

Rutgers looked like they had no clue how to attack a zone.
 
I think this game thread is longer than the one on that other board! I love our knowledgeable, passionate posters!
 
if this is the same Rutgers team that will face Uconn in Feb.. it's going to be a longgggg night for the Scarlets.

This Uconn team will blow by Tennessee by the way..
 
Let me make some positive comments. (No junk.)

When I first watched Sykes (Madison Square Garden, Maggie Dixon Classic, a couple years ago), she seemed out of shape and lost on the court. And she didn't shoot well either. I have seen her more recently vs. UConn and I did not detect any significant improvement. Tonight she was about all Rutgers had with her shooting, ball-handling, and passing. Quite an improvement.

Spani is about Sykes's size and she is a superb ball-handler and a deadly shooter. Stricklen (aka Strickland sometimes) is a really good player with too many roles to perform.

Somebody posted something about "the lesser of two evils." I guess the lesser is still evil, right?
 
i have yet to see Glory Johnson and Vicky Baugh play like they are 5th year players

I just read this thread without knowing the results of this game... you guys crack me up. Im sorry that Rutgers let you down! :cool:

Yup. That's pretty much how I feel. Often. Good thing I'm not carrying.

It's great that we've shown we can hang with teams like Miami and Tenn, but losing does absolutely nothing for us.
 
Sykes surely increased her WNBA stock.

It was nice to see them show the replay of Gloy's foot on the line after she complained to the ref that she wasnt out... no doubt after seeing that!

dang Im busted again... you are good!

but it wasnt a game changers as those phantom fouls UConn got against ND that caused them to lose the game last year.

man 'ol man I gotta watch my mouth on the Boneyard cause DD always catch me!

Well, maybe you should lighten up with complaining about what posters post...lol. I hate blaming refs too. You don't see me to that.

And I didn't think there was that much of the about the Tennessee/RU game here.

buddy you're reading into my comments too much (Im actually watching the game right now 2:30pm) and Im posting OUTLOUD, you see NO QUOTES added to my comments

strangely you're complaining about someone complaining.

DD I think you would enjoy yourself a lil bit on the BY if you could ignore me... Im not going to write 4 paragraphs about ___ vs ___ etc. Im gonna link stuff, predict scores, say stuff AND move on. Dont take me serious on the BY please, you'll be better off.
