over the Irish. I'm told she announced this on twitter. Very nice pick-up for Duke.

Great pickup for Duke. She's one of the elite scorers in the class. She's #6 per HG and Blue Star, and just outside the top 10 per ASGR

Big pickup for Duke, especially if she is able to play at the same level prior to her ACL injury. Don't recall where I saw the picture, but Rebecca did meet some celebrities during her visit to Duke:)

Found the Picture. I saw it on the ND board. Link John Mellencamp & Meg Ryan

Then they can take it out on Duke in the ACC, since they've been so anxious to play other teams. When's the last game we're scheduled to play the Sliding Irish, anyway?

I wonder if Meg told Greenwell that she went to UConn? :)

Technically it's suppose to be 24 months, but the ACC already announced their leagues basketball partners schedule wise for home/home and it included ND. I suspect ND will exit earlier than the two year requirement. The AD and BE commissioner have both said they've been in preliminary talks. The last game of the conference for ND is hosting UConn. It could be the final regular season game for them.

Regarding Greenwell: ND is surely disappointed they made a hard run at her right up until the end. The prospect of having Greenwell join Reimer/Allen et tal in the class was exciting considering that's 3/5th of the starting line-up for the U17 world champions. ND will still be set up well for the post-Diggins era. They've still entered new territory for them having a team that will include so many players that have excelled in international competition with the national team.

I expect UConn and ND will continue to have an annual game even after ND leaves the Big East.

Or Chidom, also from California. Hopefully Duke snags at least one of them.

The UNC-Duke games are going to be great in the next few years. Williams, Jones, Deshields, Greenwell, Mavunga, etc. all on one court. WOW!

Great pickup for Duke!!!

I hope this pushed the Blue Devils closer to a NC. I would like to see the Blue Devils with a National Championship banner!

As far as the comment about west coast to ACC it very well could be Oderah Chidom. I read academics was a deciding factor for her. If so, that's great!

I sure hope not. Not sure why you would want to reward a back-stabber, but some people want BCU too.

There are few enough quality programs already. Why end the series over a decision that had zero to do with wbb. Once a year would be nice instead of 3.

No one wants BC. They are awful. ND is not.

Given that a) none of this conference realignment has to do with WBB, b) there are precious few good rivalries in WBB and they should be preserved, and c) Uconn would leave treadmarks on its way out of the Big East at such time as there was an opportunity to do so, the "back stabber" rhetoric is myopic and sanctimonious.

That's what I was thinking. UConn was trying to get out last year. I would never think of them as backstabbers if it worked out. It's the school taking care of their best interests.

Best thing about ND to the ACC is that it is BCU's worst nightmare. They are now, officially, the least important Catholic school in their conference.
