I wouldn't mind playing at Boise - I just haven't read anything that confirms that we are. If the Boise officials are "unaware of any scheduling arrangements", I am not sure why you are.

I hate this new conference with the heat of the sun, but if it makes us a good conference partner by heading out to shitsville and playing a game, so be it. It is the least we can do for them bringing their (hopefully still) ranked football team in here.

the boise forums are all jacked up about uconn and memphis taking trips to the taco pavilion for games. they have a real young team this year so there thinking big dreams when those kids are juniors and hosting uconn. yup your right, were not going to play @ boise....chesus

Though not clear Dan, let's assume for a moment that you're right. If we were "asked" by the BE to do this, then it's not like it's completely a voluntary decision on our part. It certainly seems to have been a part of the negotiations to get their football on board.

Secondly, again assuming you're right, it is ONE game at Boise...not a big deal!! And in fact, it could be a women's game at Boise and a UConn home game for the men. That would be even less of a big deal!! Either way, it's just not that significant!

Those loonies in Idaho painted the grass on their foorball field some peculiar shade of blue....

I can only imagine (when the colors of the available primer and paint combinations for grass are no longer limitations) just what hideous color scheme they might attempt on their basketball court.

I just don't want to take a chance on playing them in Boise....

1 game is not the end of the world, you are right but its the whole were building others thing. helping here and so on. why should we help our commish? all his dumb moves and non actions have us where we are today, now he wants our help? i don't see USC football playing a game at boise anytime soon, why should UConn basketball? we did our part in 2004 and uconn has been a story like no other since. all this helping for the schools coming in leads most people to one thought-if uconn thought it was getting a acc or big invite anytime within the next 10 years, it wouldn't be doing all this. so that leave us with-were stuck in this mess. thats how this comes across to most fans.
