From a lifestyle perspective, I can't fault Bron for going there. But win on your own. I'll never view him remotely in the same group as MJ or even Kobe. Bosh is a $15m 3 or specialist, the most overpaid player in sports.

When people in other parts of the country don't like you, you are generally doing something right. As a basketball team, they are everything you could ever want. They work hard, play hard, especially on the defensive end. No one on that team is ever getting into any sort of trouble and the organization is run in a fantastic manner. I think it just boils down to the fact that a lot of people just didn't like the fact that James and Bosh went there to play.

San Antonio is from a different part of the the country, play real hard and do things right on and off the court, and are very likable. I don't see the same in Miami. Wade is not really a likable guy and although LeBron is a good guy overall, he has changed with his ever growing success which is well deserved by the way.

But you are right in the fact Bosh and LeBron heading there in a package deal is less than appealing to most……….but they play hard. Get a lot of calls too…….

I hate to break it to you, but no one wins on their own. As for Bosh, what do you care what they pay him? The guy has gone from being the focus of his former team to a guy that never gets a play run for him. He didn't become an all star by setting screens and hanging out around the three point line, yet that is the role that Miami has put him into, and he has accepted it. I imagine a lot of players would bitch about that but this guy just accepts it because he likes to win.

MJ had all sorts of quotes about how the Pistons were dirty, terrible for basketball, and he wanted to see them dissolved, disbanded, etc. His hatred was so deep, he reportedly wouldn't play on the Dream Team if Isiah was on it.

Yet when the Bulls needed some front court/rebounding help, he rubber stamped the idea of bringing Rodman aboard.

Not everyone likes them - Ginobli and Parker bring heavy doses of flopping and Duncan's bug-eyed "what, me foul?" face grates on a lot of people. At times they've had some s like Stephen Jackson and Gary Neal too.

But mostly the hatred is reserved for Houston/OKC fans and teams that get beat by them in the playoffs. It isn't a universal hatred like the Heat face.

Bruce Bowen, now that guy is as big an as you will ever find. Just listening to the guy talk on ESPN makes me want to punch him with his stupid bow tie, but you need guys like that to win a title. Kobe threw some punches at him.

Good that he plays for a likable team and helps them.

Yeah that's a little over the top, but go Ray. If sarcasm, was kind of tough interpret.

Then you'll never get how phenomenal he is, and that's a shame.

Pretty much every game the guy comes out and has to lead his team and get a lot of points, a lot of rebounds, and a lot of assists. He also frequently has to shut down one of the other's team's best scorer.

Jordan had Pippen for all of his titles - a top 50 all time player. He had Rodman - one of the best rebounders and defenders who ever played.

Kobe had one of the two best centers to ever play for 3 of his rings.

Who does LeBron have? An old Dwayne Wade with broken down knees, who missed close to 30 games this season? A big white guy with loud tattoos? A guy named Bosch who is soft and is super hot and cold?

The great irony of your post is that LeBron IS pretty much winning on his own. The guy is flat out awesome, and a once in a generation player - and probably once in a couple generation player.

Ahh, no way. Wade is never likable, Bosh a user, Birdman a dirbag, Chalmers a whiner, and Bron gets every call. I do like Battier, I like all Duke alums.

Gaahhh! What's wrong with you 91?? Anyone who likes Chrissy Laettner is suspect!

And people freaking hated Bowen when he played for them.

EDIT: scoe got there first.

He has Ray.

The Spurs had them beat last year and will run a clinic on Miami this year, no more than 5.

I could care less about Ray, good job against Miss St in 1995. Go watch his 4th Q in game 7 of 2010 finals against Lakers. Where was he then, he was awful and cost Celts the championship.

Who does Lebron have? He has one of the best shooting guards in NBA history, the best shooter in NBA history and a 9x all-star at power forward.....saying Lebron is pretty much winning on his own is unbelievably stupid.

You realize MJ had Pippen, Rodman, etc. Kobe rode Shaw's coattails for three titles and Cleveland is a city that will never attract free agents....never mind. Lol

Skip Bayless, is that you?

I like Brian Shaw but I wouldn't exactly say Kobe rode his coattails. Lol

Hopefully you meant Shaq! It's only funny because Shaw was Bryant's backup for 3 of those Champi0nships.

EDIT: dammit, superjohn got in before me. a step slow today. Hope it doesn't carry over to the pitch.

Yet Ray is responsible for a bunch of Miami late game heroics. Without Ray, Miami might not have at least one of those Championships.

You can't even acknowledge the baseless crap that comes through this dude's fingers. Ray's clutch stats, namely in the postseason, are well-known. Even ESPN loves putting those stats up there. He's easily more clutch than Reggie.

You can tell he's full of it when all he has is a Mississippi State game from two decades ago and a single quarter from a single game.

Which goes to my point in another thread that some fans can hold a (not necessarily warranted) grudge FOREVER.

I wonder how hard he cried and for how long after Ray hit that three in Game 6.

There is so much hate and fail in this post. Don't forget to go outside and shake your miserable fist at the clouds while you are at it.

It's weird that you'd post something this dumb while calling someone else's post stupid. It's not like Wade brings his game from 2006 on the court with him these days.

None of those guys in the supporting cast are as good this year as they were even last year. Ray gives them something every few nights, Wade's contribution last night was so remarkable because he almost never plays that well anymore, and Bosh is basically a fading jump shooter at this point.

You're calling someone else "unbelievably stupid" and it's as if the concept that these guys aren't nearly as good as they used to be when they were at their peak never even crosses your mind. Very strange.

Reading comprehension 101, I said the post was unbelievably stupid and would never call a person unbelievably stupid for giving their opinion on basketball. You clearly haven't been watching the playoffs because Wade has been awesome. He's scored 28, 27, 23 and 23 in his last 4 games on well over 60% shooting. Nothing I said is inaccurate, Wade is one of the best shooting guards ever, Allen is the best shooter ever and Bosh is a 9x all-star. If you want to be critical of every post I make go for it but you're the one showing a lack of basketball knowledge.
