The recent discussion about UCONN WBB Mt Rushmore got me thinking about ranking those currently on the Wall of Honor. Lets debate! Here's my ranking (hope I didn't miss any):

1. Diana
2. Stewie
3. Maya
4. Sue

7. Tina

Seem to be missing the most recent 2 to be added to the wall... how soon they are forgotten:eek::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Is there a way to do this with a poll? Not sure if this forum has the capability. It would be cool to collect the data & see what the data tells us with a decent sample of UConn fans.

Not bad, but swap 1 and 2. Stewie brought us 4 NCs. She had four collosal seasons. No one else did that.

Rank the names on the wall?.....Mission Impossible!! One ranking is just as good as another. May as well rank them by how many letters are in their individual names.

But a great exercise otherwise. Whose great? Who's The GOAT ? UCONN , so many great players names. So little time.
 
I believe I posted at the beginning of the year the definitive discussion of those players on the Wall. Long story short - none of them belong on the wall. :rolleyes:

to say that reasonable people may disagree would be a truism. But to omit Napheesa Collier from the top 20 quite arguably sufficiently discredits the exercise in its entirety.
 
As much as I love Diana, Maya, Sue, Rebecca and some of the others I have to put at the top of any list the young lady who brought us four (that's 4) straight Ncaa titles. And she was not just an ingredient in the drink. She was the straw who stirred it for all four years. Then Rebecca, Diana, Maya and Sue.

Agree with your top 5. IMO Svet and Rizzotti might be higher than you have them, and KML & Wolters lower. Recency bias makes me feel like and Phee and KLS should be on the list in place of Tuck and possibly Hartley, until I'm reminded they brought us no NC's (other than their freshman "Stewie NC"). Gotta show me the money.

"Collosal”??? Stewie’s freshman year was less than memorable Sans her FF performance, particularly defeating ND on the 4th matchup that season. Diana stays #1
 
To try and rank is unfair to all of them and we their fans. Too many years from 1st to latest. Too much difference in competition for each. Too much variance in teammates. I have fantastic memories of all. I have favorites but personality figures into my decisions as well as their playing expertise. Love them all like daughters.

Stewie carry UCONN to two titles as freshman and sophomore which is a greater challenge than as a Jr and Sr. Dolson and Hartley failed two years in row and without Stewie would failed another two years. Remember Maya could not carry Dolson and Hartley but Stewie did.

Oops you’re Right!! In my haste, posted them then made some changes and forgot to put them back and hit reply. I have Pheesa after bascom and Lou After Jefferson.

Stewie played with AAs her first 2 years! It was just Maya her Sr. year!
 
Breanna won four titles, while D won only three. Her freshman year D was surrounded by all-world talent. Breanna was never surrounded by all -world talent. Solid yes, but nowhere near the talent level when D was a freshman.l
