Nebrich's response is the outlier I'll take The responses from Dan O, Lutrus and Reggie over his all day everybday.Ouch

Kill the noise. LOL
Is that a shot at the BD speech or those not happy with the hire.
Cheap shot. Kid came here despite other staffs telling him Edsall would bail on the program come January. The other staffs didn't lie to him. Randy did.Step backward? Is that like getting into a BCS program and then transferring to Fordham?
Maybe, just maybe, he's talking about "noise" coming from this board.

Didn't Dan O's dad say his son would run through fire for RE? Or something to that effect.Scott Lutrus with Jon Wholley and 2 others.

Haven't been this excited about UConn football since running out of the tunnel in the Fiesta Bowl. Beyond excited to have Coach Edsall back in Storrs to restore the football program. Plenty of work to be done, but he's the right man for the job. Would love to see some of the old band get back together. Let's go huskies!
If someone could bring that back up, every future recruit should be required to do the same before signing their LOI... I kid of course. And ultimately, I'm sure Mr. Orlovsky was exaggerating. But the Best QB in programs history holds a ton of high praise for Edsall.Didn't Dan O's dad say his son would run through fire for RE? Or something to that effect.
Yep DanO is a staunch supporter of RandyIf someone could bring that back up, every future recruit should be required to do the same before signing their LOI... I kid of course. Dalton Gifford was tepid about it.
I call BS on this. How would anyone know Edsall was leaving 6 months earlier? And who would have ever picked Uconn to go to a BCS bowl at the same time??Cheap shot. Kid came here despite other staffs telling him Edsall would bail on the program come January. The other staffs didn't lie to him. Randy did.
Really? You don't remember the email the kid put out that the BC staff sent to him after he committed to uconn?I call BS on this. How would anyone know Edsall was leaving 6 months earlier? And who would have ever picked Uconn to go to a BCS bowl at the same time??
Major disclaimer - this could be Diaco/Edsall related, could be something completely unrelated ...
(In case he deletes it, he's saying "Sometimes I just don't understand
")![]()
Maybe DO will come back as QB coach. Haha.
So BC knew that uconn was going to the Fiesta Bowl and Edsall was going to leave right after? And BC knew this while recruiting him 6-12 months earlier ?? Really? And no I do not remember email.Really? You don't remember the email the kid put out that the BC staff sent to him after he committed to uconn?
I do, and they were spot on with what they told the kid.
Well it did happen. So BC knew that uconn was going to the Fiesta Bowl and Edsall was going to leave right after? And BC knew this while recruiting him 6-12 months earlier ?? Really? And no I do not remember email.
I do remember that he would honor his commitment. This happens all the time with recruiting and I would not blame him if he did not come here. Nebrich should be more upset about coach PP for not giving him a chance.Well it did happen.
The quote after he committed was, "what are you gonna do when that entire staff is gone come January?"
This is all I could find
The BC-UConn spat over negative recruiting
Then there is this. Yeah I don't blame this kid one bit.
U-Conn. recruit Michael Nebrich honors commitment to Huskies despite exit of coach Randy Edsall
Point is SDhusky took a shot at the kid for his negative tweet about Edsall. Edsall sat in his living room weeks before leaving to reassure him.I do remember that he would honor his commitment. This happens all the time with recruiting and I would not blame him if he did not come here. Nebrich should be more upset about coach PP for not giving him a chance.
He may still have some NFL years in him...let him continue on that path if that's what makes him happy. He knows there will be a spot for him here whenever he's ready.
I was calling BS on BC knowing Edsall was leaving. They turned out to be correct. Not calling you BSPoint is SDhusky took a shot at the kid for his negative tweet about Edsall. Edsall sat in his living room weeks before leaving to reassure him.
The BC staff was bloviating or maybe they heard in coaching circles that Edsall was itching to leave. They didn't lie to him with what they said, Randy did, and I don't blame the kid for Ill feelings.
Also I don't make shet up and post it. You called BS on my post, I don't do those posts.
Ah, ok. My bad. I think coaching circles are tight and some of these guys share agents. They certainly weren't throwing darts at a board blindfolded.I was calling BS on BC knowing Edsall was leaving. They turned out to be correct. Not calling you BS
A major side effect of having a coach that has his agent publicly throw his hat in the ring for any open job is that competing schools can tell recruits "that coach will be gone" and eventually be correct. So BC knew that uconn was going to the Fiesta Bowl and Edsall was going to leave right after? And BC knew this while recruiting him 6-12 months earlier ?? Really? And no I do not remember email.

What a joke.... talk about taking a step backward. Send him back to his "dream job" at Maryland and hire someone who #BleedsBlue

As much as I disagree with the hire, I'll always #BleedBlue. Wish the players nothing but the best moving forward with this transition

Good start to the healing process @RandyEdsall. After 6 years, a lot of people needed to hear that apology, including myself. #BleedBlue
