Refreshing to see an HC at UConn who has the backing of the AD to establish a vision and identity for the football program.

Somehow I will be buying tickets again. Four cheapies since I never get to more than 4 games.

Just alarming how all this stuff about improving conditioning, and improving culture is the exact stuff Diaco was always talking about. Amazing how incompetent he was.

Also just more indication that Edsall feels we have very few answers on this roster

Yes this passed year was frustrating to watch. And the lack of speed and depth was dreadfully obvious by the end of the season. But once again here I am trying to figure out how I will afford season tickets next year.

15-0 here we come

The lack of speed is much worse. 6 guys under 4.62? Terrible

The block c will turn everything around guys, you’ll see

Lol
Well, when I got my first pair of PF Flyers I know I ran faster and jumped higher. And then, with my Superman cape, I was faster than a speeding bullet and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! So yeah, the block C is going to make a big difference. You just watch!

It’s symbolic without a doubt. I’m all in.

>>A total of 21 players who were either freshmen or sophomores on the roster when Bob Diaco coached his final game at UConn on Nov. 26, 2016, are no longer with the program.<<

So let’s guess on the five that could run under 4.64 last spring which is before the new kids came; Maybe
Coyle
Mayala
Skanes
Summers
Bell.

I recall diaco making the same observations and stating he had a plan. I’m more comfortable with RE at the helm, but there is a difference between building a plan and executing the plan.

It’s proven RE can execute from his first stint. I’m just so exhausted after 7 seasons of saying ‘next year we’ll see the bump up’.... I’ll believe it when I see it.

That is a staggering number. Like others have said, that is a piece.

No shortcuts, expect more beatdowns in the process.

Those 40 times are absolutely absurd. Those are bad numbers for an average high school in bum CT.

To put the 40 times in perspective, we just signed a high school kid who is 350 lbs and is reported to run it in a time of 4.95 seconds. So apparently, we can't find many people who are AT LEAST 100 POUNDS LIGHTER that can run it 0.3 seconds quicker?!? Astounding...

I continue to fail to see the allure of the block C. It's childish, archaic, boring, and doesn't identify the University or the team. It could just as easily be Cincinnati, Clemson, Colorado, or the Chicago Bears for god sake.

I've never wanted the block C back until this year. I haven't had a problem with any of the uniforms we've had, in fact I like the new logo... But if we're going with the whole #REstorred idea, we'd might as well go with the block C too (I like the white helmet that has been floating around). Whatever it takes to get back to the glory days.
