Alex Karaban
41-Min. 23-Pts. 3-Reb. 1-Ast. 1-TO. 0-Stl 0-Blk. PF-3
All-American level performance and another big-time shot, this time a three that cut the PC lead to 2 under a minute. We have about half a season left with him in a UCONN uniform, hope everyone is able witness and appreciate his greatness. #Legend

A tale of two halves and the reason his grade gets dinged. That being said, his second half, especially late, was solid and he was poised in the right spot when he got the rebound and put-back to tie it up in regulation. They don't win this game without him.

About as good a bounce back game as one can have. TO's prevent the A+ on offense, but that was a stock-raising show. I think he is good for a few more games like this, His scoring average jumped 2.4 points up to 11.4 ppg and is now the fourth starter averaging double digits. (Silas is currently at 9.9 ppg)

Second half looked like early-season Solo. His shot wasn't falling, and seemed to regress defensively, hence the reason he was on the bench for end of regulation and OT. He's clearly struggling from three this year, but has been making up for it recently with a solid mid-range game, beating his man and serviceable defense, he didn't have it tonight. He did have a couple of nice hustle plays diving to the floor early on and set the pace with an opening three. He hould be poised to have a bounce back game at home against DePaul.

....and here he is! This is what an A+ game looks like. On top of the impressive state line and timely shots, including the game-clincher, he was mucking it up all over throwing it off PC player for out of bounds. I'm not ready to set the bar this high for him every game, but at least we know what he's capable of. Nice game, Silas.

Not the haughtiest state line, but was impactful on both ends and hit a timely three to cut into the PC lead late in the 2nd. I think I read in another thread that he was +18. I believe it, they looked more cohesive with him on the floor.

Moment was maybe a bit big for him. He'll be fine.
