Prognosticators Game 26 (St. John's) Predictions

I always look at our opponent's record and recent results. SJU is in the middle of the pack for the BE, but on the lower end along with Providence. Seton Hall would be the other "middle of the pack" team IMHO and they are at 10-8 in the conference vs. 7-10 for SJU.

I don't know if SJU had injuries, but they went thru a dreadful stretch where the lost 8 in a row. They are 5-2 in their last 7 games with losses to teams above them and wins vs. teams below them. UCONN beat them by 18 a few weeks back, but we were without Azzi and Christyn.

I think we are playing better for longer stretches, and for sure we are more healthy. SJU has some talent, but I think a MOV of 35 or so...

UCONN 84
SJU 49

Expect a similar defensive effort. Offense always seems to be a crap shoot. I'm sorry if I pick the same score... I put in my guess before I check others.
UConn 83 St. John's 48

UCONN 96 - St. John 49; MOV = 47 points, because I think once Paige starts playing she won't want to stop, and whomever comes in for her will be with a finely tuned machine....

Very hard for me to pick against Louies school.
I once played against the St Johns WBB team, early 80's in a street game. They came down to an outdoor park where me and some regular guys played on, on a Saturday morning, that was near St. Johns. Even though the St Johns women found our weak link, me, we still won.

But........with PB back I will pick
St Johns 44
UConn 98

Drive safe in the snow

UConn Huskies 82 - St. John's Red Storm 58 MOV - 24
