Iowa State in 2012 was a complete no-show from the opening tip.
ding ding ding.

Our 2012 team was infinitely more talented than this one. They just didn't give a crap. They had Napier, Lamb, and Drummond...and lost to Iowa State.

Nah. Has to be the George Mason loss. Of course I picked UConn to win it all this year but if we are being realistic this team probably met expectations. Should we have won? Yes. But we are still trending upwards as a program.

I mean, it shocked the sports world, and put a commuter school on the map.

I disagree, we were like virgins playing for the first time. The inexperience showed.

You need a floor leader, the ability to adjust in game, upperclassmen contributing and staying confident in spite of the situation. We looked lost at times.

This was the expected outcome but we all were blind.

Now that we've got that out the way our returnees will be much better, hungry and hopefully united under one goal.
