I just discovered Hiroshima when I read they are playing the Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz next month. They play Sunday preceded by the Brubeck Brothers Quartet so I'm sure we'll hear Take Five as well. Nice bill for free.

Huge Hiroshima fan. They put on quite the show back in the day. June Kuramoto is one of the best vocalist I've ever heard. Not a jazz song (more R&B) but she was outstanding on this song.
