Not sure if this outlet got their info from this thread, but they reiterate my post above about DeBerry.

Actually looks quite a bit like Mercedes Russell (in terms of appearance).

Fudd in Austin this weekend for an unofficial visit; spotted with our entire coaching staff at Saturday afternoon's volleyball game versus Oklahoma

Well things seem to be going well.
Mom is on her cell phone. Karen is sucking on a lolly pop. Dad looks bored like he is missing a horn or something. At least Azzi is not wearing that gaudy orange!

Blue Star shuffled its 2021 rankings.

Fudd and DeBerry remain 1-2. Aaliyah Moore is the mover, up to #3. Caroline Ducharme and Saylor Poffenbarger move down one corresponding spot to #5 and #7 respectively. Taylor Bigby comes in at #14. Under-ranked Olivia Miles up five spots to #15.

Come on Geno.....................lock down DeBerry and this young lady whose still growing at 6'3" and handles and shoots like a guard............

DESTINY ADAMS was last seasons overwhelming choice for freshman of the year. She put together one of the most dominating freshman seasons we have seen in Shore conference history. She debuted with a showing stopping game against Donavan Catholic, and never looked back. She went on to win the WOBM MVP, becoming the 1st Freshman to ever win the award. Manchester spent the entire season ranked in the Top 20. The 6’3″ Adams has improved her shooting over the summer and her ball handling as well. Last season at times Manchester would forget who buttered there bread. This season they’d be wise not to make that mistake in the marquee matchup’s. Destiny Adams is the toughest match up in New Jersey. Her ability to get to the rim, step out for jumpers and lead the break are unmatched for a player of her size.. She just may be the most physical player in the state, something that is overlooked. She is ego free and this year could become the face of SHORE GIRLS BASKETBALL.

Agree...seems like we have lost our appeal to young players. It also seems like we no longer look for players not listed at the top by the recruiting sites.

it's only been one recruiting cycle........................and it's not over yet.........................next year is going to tell a lot about the state of the program's recruiting power, I would wait and see before I made such sweeping pronouncements..........

Always brings up the question of what recruits want to see and what teams want to show on recruiting trips. Maybe Azzi is a big volleyball fan but with all the activity around downtown Austin and the UT campus, wonder why time was spent in a relatively empty gym.

UCONN has not landed a 2019 recruit as of yet but UCONN has said no to some pretty impresive 2019 talent. River Balwin, Anaya Peoples, Zia Cooke to name a few. What that tells me is that @Tonyc may be correct, and UCONN has bigger fish in mind for 2019.
The big fish seem to be getting away.

Some video of Jillian Hollingshead (#35) who had 16 points and 9 rebounds then 15 points in her first two games this year.

Blue Star makes a few modifications to its 2021 rankings. Of note, Olivia Miles who started 20th, moving to 15th a month ago, is now #5.

Fudd and DeBerry still 1-2, Ducharme and Poffenbarger still top-10 at 7th and 9th respectively.

Blue Star has also made a more comprehensive list for 2022. A new name to keep an eye on is 2nd-ranked Lauren Betts, a 6-6 center from Colorado.
