Great game! DD is definitely doing her best to compete with Coates and the 2 Kelsey's as #1 draft choice....

There were a lot of questionable calls in the game and questionable coaching decisions to be kind by both coaches. Didn't like the call at the end but maybe offset by the missed call when coates hit the ball while out of bounds and SC scored high after. Dawn looks like she's having a breakdown waving the ref off the court at the end of the game. Dawns after game presser should be worth the price of admission.

Bad call at the end of the game. There was a really bad missed call a couple of minutes earlier when Coates touched the ball when she was out of bounds but refs said it was off UT and it led to an easy bucket for South Carolina that would not have happened.

Regardless, huge win for Tennessee. They are as polarizing a team as I've seen. Wins against Stanford, Notre Dame and South Carolina, but they aren't even a top 25 team. Curious to see how they perform their next outing. If their big 3 play well and Middleton can hit shots, they are quite dangerous.

Poorly played, poorly coached (on both sides), the best player on SC didn't show up for the most part because of a T, and foul trouble, and, well... just a mess. I'm officially not worried about the SC game in February.

I was one of the 12 who voted for UT.

By the way, heard outside the UT dressing room door...................We Want UConn!! We Want UConn!!

Unranked Tenn. went into South Carolina's home court and won on two free throws with 5 seconds left in the game. South Carolina made a valiant come back in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but were called for a foul with 5 seconds left. Tenn. made both free throws to win. I guess South Carolina is going to drop from the top four again.

Really bad call for SC foul at end. This bad call costed SC to loss the game.

look. SC whined all night about fouls. it paid off as they stopped calling fouls for most of the second half against them. they put themselves in a position to lose and they lost. one possession doesn't make a game. i frankly think they underestimated the Lvs

So now we can speculate on were SC will be in tomorrows coaches' poll.

And will Tennessee crack the top 25 again?

I'm keeping my lack of worry unofficial. Dawn will be crazy not to use this to whip them up and treat UConn as do or die.

Last SC foul was pitifully bogus. I get more contact than that in the check out lane at the local grocery store.

This was a bad display of all that should be basketball.... from the officiating to the play to the coaching..... let TN have its day though any win is a good win.....

I was not too impressed by either side......

What was Wilson thinking.... yes a bad call but she ensured that a bad call to make 3 was going to turn to a T with her petulance... so it was 4.... and she was on the bench....

Can a team with 7 losses be in the Top 10? Yup in women's college basketball it certainly can

Regarding officiating - what goes around, comes around. SC got the home discount against MSU, but not tonight. Honestly, there was a lot of volume contact in this game (refs can't call everything). Coates looked like she was throwing herself into any orange shirt in the neighborhood trying to draw contact. And really, what business did the Gamecocks have in letting the Lady Vols hang around long enough to have the opportunity to pull it out? Gotta hand it to the LV's, they got the Gamecocks into a street ball game and kept the pressure on. They also managed to hold their own in the rebounding department, which was huge in avoiding a bigger SC run.
