Since Xavier is on COVID pause, I am not 100% sure that 2/13 game will be played - knowing CT. So I chose the 2/16 PC game, otherwise would have gone with 2/13.

Yeah I just went with my gut that day in response to that OP because I didn't like the then-recent Hurley quote and a few other things I heard bubbling up here and elsewhere.

I've gone back and forth a few times since then, from thinking Hurley may have been pulling a bit of a JC by subtly sending a little jab through the media, to thinking maybe Hurley was playing coy to keep other teams in suspense, back to thinking that maybe Hurley was just frustrated because he can't control it and is not calling the shots.

I really have no strong sense at all at this point, but my best guess today is that "they"--whoever "they" are--are going to be extremely cautious and not have him come back until he is 100% or damned close to it. That would seem to align with the outside range suggested by some, as well as the report that someone had been face-timing with Bouk and he suggested late February or by March at the latest.

I thought it might be Xavier, but I don't think it will be a road game, although the hour trip to Providence wouldn't count as a road game to me. I picked the majority game, the 2nd PC game. Hope it is sooner.

i'm hoping 2/16 was the popular choice only because it's the absolute latest of conservative estimates i.e. one game to knock off the rust before the game of the year against nova.

I chose Gtown which gives him 4 games to shake off the rust and prepare for the BE tournament. Hoping he is back earlier not just for the sake of the team but because he is such a fun player to watch.

I may just go with the assumption Bouk won't be back in the next couple of weeks and when / if he does hope it's not too late. It seems like anyone can beat anyone in the BE this year so maybe we still win enough without him to make the Tourney.

Because they went on pause for a positive case on Feb 1st, and CT DPH has been very strict on 14 days quarantine.

Nova was on pause for that game. It was not postponed because Nova was able to play but the CT DPH said UConn could not play them.

But one of our games was. I am pretty sure it was the prior Xavier game. They had only quarantined for 10 days not 14 and DPH said no.
