Poet's Corner: Haiku Review

This thread/concept has so much promise. Some of the best stuff on the BY for a while. Here's to hoping it doesn't fizzle out.
 
Aside from natural talent, this is the most important element for a good poet.

Constructive criticism not being readily available, I would think that the poet's most useful tool would be the desire and practice of continually honing his/her craft, and the willingness to learn from various sources whenever possible.

Being a capacious reader is obviously important. But, like so many other skills, there's an element of "you have it or you don't."
