I thought this thread was about Pitino's thoughts on other coaches.

Someone is going to start a thread called "I love ice cream" and you're going to post a 10,000 word screed on how they don't, in fact, "love" ice cream or what they really believe to be ice cream is actually gelato.

That might be the all time deflection. I know how MWC manipulated the computers. I didn't realize we were discussing the Mountain West - I thought you were pumping up SMU and CUSA.

So you know nothing about CUSA and MWC and your defense is the computer rankings are broken because they like MWC over some other conferences with your argument being they had a bad tournament.

And to answer your question I think Mountain West was better this year than the Big 12 and SEC and the ACC and PAC 12 were better. The top of the A-10 was better but the MWC average was above the A-10.

I am at a bit of an advantage because I actually know the teams and watch them all season and don't just talk out of my a** on subjects I have no knowledge

You should go back to the original quote from Pitino. Maybe, and this is crazy - he was just giving Brown a compliment and not taking a shot at SMU.

I happen to think the former SWMOST is a bad school out in bumfuck. You have a much higher opinion of them. You tried to show me that their conference is better than CUSA, and all you succeeded in doing is in showing why Massey ratings are faulty. That's the bottom line. I'd rather be SMU any day of the week when it comes to school, location, sports, men's basketball, conference, whatever--up and down the line.
