Last one. This picture is from a trip to Italy and Switzerland we took a few years ago. These are the statues on the spires of the Duomo church in Milan.

Milan was supposed to be a stopover for us from Zermatt to Sorrento. We ended up surprising ourselves by enjoying the city enormously. Did you see the canals?

Astoria baby! Home of La Gui Pastry and the best spumoni in Queens. I mean, it ain't Spumoni Gardens but.... @triaddukefan beware.
Spumoni? My ears are perked up and I was looking at Condos and Co-ops in Astoria online just last night. Hmmm

Appreciate the compliment. I've only started getting into photography last year. Hoping to make it a side hustle .

It also is a great way to experience the beauty around me here. Here are a couple for Bracebridge ON which is about 3 - 4 hours north of Toronto.View attachment 70077View attachment 70078
I used to have a roommate from Bracebridge.

Great topic , Nan!

This is a Christmas eve pajama night at a dinner group in Cave Creek, AZ I belonged to for a number of years.

They're no longer with us, so I didn't have to consider their embarrassment in publishing the photo. (And we only did it the once.)

And, in comemeration of the memories this brought up, equal time for my embarrassment ;^).

Did you train in and out of Milan? I was really impressed by the central railway station.
Yes, indeed. There was a big soccer, er football, game in Italy so the train was packed with drunken Swiss at 8 am. Quite the experience

This is an eyelash viper, which I snapped in Cahuita National Park in Costa Rica. We'd been warned not to put our hands on or walk to close to the trees, as there are vipers that live in trees. Sure enough, the next day we saw this little snake, probably not more than a foot long.

Cake I made for my great nephew. He’s 14 now.
