Does anyone remember Yvonne Turner at Nebraska? It has taken 8 years, but she's a fine player.
 
Phoenix will win, even early this is the 4th straight game Loyd has failed to show up. She hasn't played like an all star this year, outside of the 5 games at the beginning of the year, she has been bad.
 
I want Seattle to win, but that was over the back on Howard.

Storm down 9 but hustling. Good energy. But a question: Has KLM played her way onto the waver list? At times she looks totally outclassed by every other player on either team.

Will not go that far but Whitcomb seems to be outplaying and outshooting KLM in her 3pt specialty over the last part of the regular season and playoffs.

True. I really like KLM, but I confess to worries based on the last several times I’ve seen her play. In college, she really wasn’t as slow as some may have thought, compared to the opposition. But the pro game is much faster, and now the quickness discrepancy is pretty apparent.

The refs have seemingly targeted Taurasi to try to get her out of the game. It's almost as bad as the semi-finals in Columbus. The fans deserve better. :(
 
Phoenix leads by 4 after 3Q. Their leading scorer is ... Yvonne Turner.

Seattle has never led. Stewie has 21 and 6. They need to play their A game over the last 10 minutes.
 
Phoenix manages to goes on a little run with DT out. If they can keep this crew on for a couple more minutes and maintain, they’ll get DT back with 7-8 minutes left and 2 fouls to spare. Big advantage Phoenix right now, they’ve been the better team in tight moments and Griner is playing fantastic on both ends tonight.

Really? The semi-final in Colombus wasn't bad at all. I will say that DT's 3rd and 4th fouls were bogus.
 
Stewie playing every second. That may backfire.

Seattle took their first lead on a 3-pointer by Canada. Then, Bonner and Taurasi went on a 7-0 run. Mercury up by 4 at 6:41.
 
Stewie and Sami are the only double-digit scorers for Seattle. Their other starters need to step up.
 
I hate watching PHX. Griner gets double or triple teamed every possession she gets it. And the defense is trying to hawk Taurasi and Bonner, which leaves someone else always open. It's definitely their best strategy and basically unstoppable, but I just don't enjoy it. January has taken Loyd out of the last 4 games, and Clark isn't athletic enough to exhaust DT on offense. Even if any of the guards blow by the guards, there's Griner there.
