Peacock/I’m an Idiot

So, I was confused and thought tonight's Michigan State game was on Peacock. I started the free one week trial only to discover tonight’s game isn’t on Peacock. When I went to cancel Peacock, I was offered a 6 month subscription for $2.99 a month which I signed up for. So I’m an idiot, but I’ll end up with the 8 UConn games on Peacock for $18.00.
8 farqin games on that shiet service? smdh

Did anybody else find the picture quality not the best? It just seemed off to me and it's not the TV or even Peacock because other programming is fine.

Ok just to make people aware I do have the premium plus peacock plan and there is a replay there
Yes but they are so cheap they make you watch the commercials cannot fast forward over them. That is real BS. I made a promise to myself to never watch the commercials cannot and if possible never buy anything they are selling. I paid to watch the game already had a Peacock subscription and the corporate bean counters decide I have to watch them a second time when rewatching the game.

I understand it is a small thing but that is why it frustrates me so much. They are already pretty much robbing the avid sports fan by having to have at least three subscriptions then if you at least want one old school way to view either cable or DirecTV and then they do that.

When the game is on FS1 and I record from DirecTV they do not make me watch the commercials I record it and watch whatever part of the game I want to.

Then I saw someone on the Yard posted the you tube replay. So none of this really matters anyway.

Yeah I get a lot of bufffering nowadays but more so on he tv in my bedroom. The one in my living room is fine. I just prefer to watch games in my bedroom.
For what it's worth when I upgraded my TV, which was still fine, although the buffering issues disappeared. There's just a ton of data for the older TVs to process.

I hate not being able to watch a game live, but sometimes it happens. Those YouTube replays are glorious because all the commercials and halftime is edited out.

My bedroom TV I bought is a LG OLED C4 so not old. I have no buffering on other apps watching tv there.

You wonder what makes it have issues. What's your data speed?

It’s fantastic for me both on TV and laptop. Laptop quality is better than ESPN+ or DirectTV stream.

Shows u that UConn is really cultivating the fan base. But I dont see any peacocks as logos on t- - yet.

I have at&t fiber. I might have to hardwired it like I did my ps5 att fiber kind of sucks.
Do a speed test and see what your download speed is over Wi-Fi. Maybe it's the router? It seems like your set up should be fine so that's the only thing that I can think of. I think I would do the speed test before I bothered running ethernet cable directly to the TV.

I doubt it's the fiber connection being an issue - any fiber is simply fast. Most likely the wifi router - how old is it? How far from the TV? If you can easily run an ethernet cable to the TV, that would likely solve any problem without buying new stuff. Even if the TV and/or router or switch you're running it from only supports 100Mb/sec, that is more than plenty for any 4k feed. 25Mb will suffice.
