So, I was confused and thought tonight's Michigan State game was on Peacock. I started the free one week trial only to discover tonight’s game isn’t on Peacock. When I went to cancel Peacock, I was offered a 6 month subscription for $2.99 a month which I signed up for. So I’m an idiot, but I’ll end up with the 8 UConn games on Peacock for $18.00.

I did the $20/year black friday deal last year. Received notification my plan was coming up for renewal for $109 for the year. I went to my account to cancel and I'm being offered $39.99/year premium for another year. Not quite as good as the $2.99 per month
Thanks for posting that. I received the same email. I was going to cancel and sign up for Walmart+ for $98 because it includes Peacock Premium and I would get free shipping but now I'll just stick with Peacock for $39.99 per year.

I looked up the cost via my Xfinity TV and it's at 10.99 a month for the required premium level and you can cancel any time. Not sure if they would present a win you back offer after cancelling?

So to watch all the games I need ESPN+, ESPN, ESPN2,TNT, truTV, Peacock, and Fox Spots? Anything else?

I bet the one remaining streaming platform that doesn’t have a UConn game is really upset.

Last year, I must have signed up for a similar $20-ish annual Peacock offer. Today, I received a similar alert my year ends 11/28. I’ll cancel, then see what’s offered after a day or 2 after my current deal ends.

Don’t care too much about the next Peacock game (E TX A&M 12/5), but will definitely renew before Butler 12/16 game.

I am thinking about the 14.99 peacock and apple tv combo. There are a few things I want to watch on apple tv and it looks like that costs 12.99 on its own

I had subscribed to Peacock a few years back and then canceled. When I tried to do the $20 deal last Nov for black friday, it would not accept my email address and said account already exists (even though no plan was active on it). I had to choose another email address to use for it. Hopefully the BF deal isn't just for new customers. Mine expires Nov 30 so I am in a similar predicament as you.

You are doomed not to observe the Rise of Ross! Don't worry HW will keep you informed.
Just to be clear, while that made me laugh nothing would make me happier than to compliment HW for his foresight if Ross becomes an All American and leads us to #5.

Peacock and Apple is going on my football tailgate menu

They normally require a new email address, FYI. There’s an easy trick though. Put a period (.) in between any letter of your email of choice. Works like a charm. Then next year move the period over one letter.

Play the game with Peacock, other streaming services, ISPs, etc, rotate household member names as customers, respective email addresses, credit cards, etc. If it helps, good chance my spouse may be a new Peacock subscriber in Dec.

It’s a good general rule of thumb to “cancel”subscriptions you want to keep, but at a cheaper price. For example, I do it every year for Sirius XM — $24.99 a month, I say it quit, want to stay for $5.99 a month for last 12 months?, ok, same dance every year.

I tried to open Peacock on my Fire Stick but was denied. However, I was able to open it on the App on my phone... Go figure.

I HATE Peacock!

Dumb question, anybody know about full game replays for games broadcasted through peacock? Couldn’t watch live and want to catch the whole thing

I think premium plus has that, but only have premium so I can’t confirm it.

Yeah I get a lot of bufffering nowadays but more so on he tv in my bedroom. The one in my living room is fine. I just prefer to watch games in my bedroom.

Did anybody else find the picture quality not the best? It just seemed off to me and it's not the TV or even Peacock because other programming is fine.

Picture was great for me too. Noticeably better than ESPN 100%. and better than fox. Looked 4K and no buffering. I watched it though my APPL tv with FIOS. With no other bottlenecks it was the best Uconn stream I've watched.

Ok just to make people aware I do have the premium plus peacock plan and there is a replay there
Yes but they are so cheap they make you watch the commercials cannot fast forward over them. That is real BS. I made a promise to myself to never watch the commercials cannot and if possible never buy anything they are selling. I paid to watch the game already had a Peacock subscription and the corporate bean counters decide I have to watch them a second time when rewatching the game.

I understand it is a small thing but that is why it frustrates me so much. They are already pretty much robbing the avid sports fan by having to have at least three subscriptions then if you at least want one old school way to view either cable or DirecTV and then they do that.

When the game is on FS1 and I record from DirecTV they do not make me watch the commercials I record it and watch whatever part of the game I want to.

Then I saw someone on the Yard posted the you tube replay. So none of this really matters anyway.

For what it's worth when I upgraded my TV, which was still fine, although the buffering issues disappeared. There's just a ton of data for the older TVs to process.

I hate not being able to watch a game live, but sometimes it happens. Those YouTube replays are glorious because all the commercials and halftime is edited out.

My bedroom TV I bought is a LG OLED C4 so not old. I have no buffering on other apps watching tv there.
